The team record for most rushing yards on opening day remains Duce Staley’s 201 yards against the Cowboys in the Pickle Juice Game, a 41-14 win at Texas Stadium in 2000. Jaworski, McNabb and Randall Cunningham share the club record with five opening-day wins, but Jalen Hurts would tie them with a win on Thursday night. Hurts and Adrian Burk both have four opening-day wins in an Eagles uniform. Cunningham was 5-4 and Jaworski and McNabb were 5-5. Hurts is 4-0 and Burk was 4-1.Hurts and college teammate Tua Tagovailoa are the only QBs to win on opening day in each of the last four years.
