By promoting Patullo who has been here, it was supposed to bring consistency and not much drop off (they said that about Brian Johnson too).Maybe a team with superstars, veterans and in a Super Bowl window should stop taking chances on first time play callers and instead stick with experienced guys.100% agree with this. I mean that same mindset worked for the defense so why not do it for the offense. Maybe it’s time to get someone in there who’s isn’t looking to become the next great young head coach and give the job to an old guy who will stick around for a while.

They’re really not running the ball as efficiently as they did last year either. When you see us struggle against the Cowboys and the Chiefs while the Chargers and Giants explode on them respectively (considering the Eagles talent) something isn’t right.
September 15Sep 15 This is nothing new. The offense has been like this for a few seasons. Even last year the Offense would fall into a lull of incompetence for stretches at a time in games.. The season prior being the most egregious. Its hard for me to believe that we have so utterly incompetent OC's to the point that they cant even utilize one of the best offensive rosters in the league. The only common denominator and trend in all of this is Hurts and Siri. With that said. We have way too much cap invested in the offense to justify such **** offensive production.

But is is only 2 games into the season in this new role so hopefully they get things figured out and everything starts to click.I mean things should already be figured out its the exact same offensive personnel from last year.. You're also hiring internally. If your OC is still "figuring things out" then maybe you shouldn't have hired him..

Championships are better.

Don’t know why they keep having this issue, but they really need to find someone who is going to stay in the building longer than one season.

The RPOs have stopped. Every pass seems short and only short.

It's a signal of a successful franchise and a cross we have to bear. If we keep winning, it will keep happening and there's not a thing we can do about that. It's the price of success I'm afraid

Dallas at home, Chiefs on the road. They both hit different. I think we need to give it a while before leaping to any conclusions (not that I am saying you are), especially as we are winning. Yes, I remember 2023 as well, but I also remember 2024....

Less cushion and much closer coverage. How did everyone else feel about his performance?
September 15Sep 15 Remember AJ Brown said the Eagles needed to fix the passing game like in week 13 last season?I do think it's a lingering problem. The good news is when the passing game clicks, the Eagles destroy their opposition. While they find that groove, it's nice that they're winning anyway.

September 15Sep 15 The upcoming Rams will set this straight. Rams are going to put points on the board. They will do it in short, quick spurts. This team will have to score at least 30 to win next week. We will see how the offense adjusts when it has to play from behind.

These days if you're a young up and coming coordinator or even position coach, you get snatched up for a HC job after a year or two.
September 15Sep 15 Saquan said it last year and I'm sure it goes for this year too... 1st 4 games are their pre season. They're not gonna open up their play book. I'm not worried at all. I said it before the season started... I'm giving KP 4-5 weeks as our players are good enough to overcome poor players calling. Lets not forget we did look pretty good early against DallASS. Also missing Goedert is huge against teams that blitz as much as KC did (60%)

I’m on record here as saying for a team that has legitimate Super Bowl aspirations they should not be hiring someone who is learning on the job. We all see how they went last time … and conversely how much better it went when we hired someone who did have quite a bit of playcalling experience (Moore). My final comment about only 2 weeks was made completely out of hope.

I'd like to see improvement sooner rather than later in the season though.

September 15Sep 15 Patullo tells the defense to a 97% certainty if its run or pass by formation. This makes him incompetent. Its not really a gray area.He should stop being incompetent.
