I am in QB trouble! Starter Purdy and backup McCarthy are both out for a few weeks. I was able to add Penix and Wentz (handcuff) off waivers. Who would you play this week?

Free agents include: Russ Wilson (vs. Chiefs SNF), Matt Stafford (@Eagles), Jake Browning (@Vikings), Geno Smith (@Commanders), Mac Jones (vs. Cardinals), Bryce Young (vs. Falcons), Cam Ward (vs. Colts), Darnold (vs. Saints), and Rattler (@Seahawks). If you think any of these guys are better, who? And which scrub should I drop?

I dropped Geno Smith from my bench in my 12 team league after his horrid week 2 performance to pick up Browning this week.

I have Justin Fields on my IR and torn trying to figure out who to start between C.J Stroud (vs JAX) and Jake Browning (vs MIN)

Both QBs have terrible OL situations but Browning has the edge in skill position talent so I'm leaning towards starting him, even though the matchup against the Vikings is less than ideal.

Giant Penix depending on who is out there. I was able to pick up Jones.

I had Burrow in one league and I have the choice of Goff or Jones. I'm 50/50 on who to start, leaning towards Goff in the hopes of a shootout.

I had the same choice and went with Jones. The Titans defense is not great. Goff has to play outdoors against one of the NFL's best defenses. That's been a recipe for disaster for Goff. I've had Goff in the past. He puts up big numbers in warm weather and indoors, but struggles on the road outdoors in cooler climates. I know Baltimore isn't freezing yet, but I don't like the matchup.

Crazy enough I'm projected to win my matchup despite Browning thanks to strong RB and WR play but probably will need to start someone else next week

No. I picked Penix. He was just as bad! He got benched against the Panthers!

Slim pickings at QB. Jones seems to have a decent floor. I guess I’ll ride with him until the wheels fall off
