What are you doing about the Tight End position? Kittle is on IR. Kelce is getting old. Hockenson is suffering from bad QB play. LaPorta is up and down. I guess if you splurged early in your draft for Bowers and McBride you are doing ok. But even they are not doing as good as advertised.

What's your Tight End strategy? Have any advice?

looks like several options including several names that could have been draft in round twenty (20)

So throw a dart and see where it lands. meh

First, my draft strategy at TE is pick the first guy, or wait it out and see who lands in the late rounds (Round 10 or so). The reality is there isn't much difference between the top guys and the backups. I can't see spending an early pick on a TE netting 12ppg when you can still get WRs and RBs at 15-20ppg.

But that was on draft day. What do you do now? Tonges would be a good handcuff to Kittle, I guess. Juwan Johnson is a good pick up after you saw Rattler throwing it and dumping it off so often. Grab him if you still can. In most leagues he's likely gone by now. Beyond that I guess you stick with what you got and hope it works out.

Work it out.

I drafted TJ Hockinson. I've seen enough JJ McCarthy is total trash. I just don't have the roster space to carry 2 TEs and 2 QBs and I feel like I have to stream QBs because I lost Burrow. Anywho... I dropped TJ for Turd Fergesson. It was either him or Ertz. Turd Fergesson has the better match up.

As a fellow Kittle owner, I am also a bit screwed. I started HH last week and the Pats barely threw to him. Ertz was available, I grabbed him and now Daniels is out. I could go back to HH (still available as a FA), or start one of the following

Jonnu Smith @ NE

Okonkwo vs IND

Fannin Jr. vs GB

Schultz @ JAX
Otton vs NYJ

Other option is keep Ertz and hope that Mariota targets him

I'd play Ertz.

Drafted McBride in 2 leagues, picked up that dude from Cleveland in the other.

This post aged well.

I’ve got Jake Ferguson who’s been pretty good. Also had Likely stashed on IR just to see what he’d be like when he comes back from injury since Andrews has been non existent

Same. If Andrews is washed then maybe we see Likely perform similar to week 1 last year.

He didn't look very washed in the parts of the game I saw last night. It seems like game plan.

I also vote the TE position is no longer a thing. Make it a TE/K hybrid spot

I was in a league back in the day where they had 3 WR spots but two were WR/TE and no dedicated TE spot

Anything is better than TE, it is the biggest crapshoot in fantasy. It's 6 points one week, 20 the next and back to like 3 the week after. The 10th ranked TE is like WR 43 and K 9-12. The top ranked kicker is about equal to the top ranked TE....

i picked up fergoson in my money league.

If Oronde Gadsden isn't picked up yet, now is your chance to get him!

Crazy how I waited until round 12 and later to draft a TE. I have Kraft and Goedert in 4 of my 5 leagues

I'm waiting on QBs and TEs next year. Whenever I take a QB early he gets hurt and whenever I take a TE early he ends up sucking. I have a top 10 QB and a Top 5 TE both of whom I got off waivers.

i rarely take qb's in the first half of the draft, but i took mahomes in the 7th. i got purdy in the 13th.

TE i goedert in the 14th.

then i grabbed ferguson off waivers at te.

My unwritten rule is if you are going to reach early for a QB/TE, you only do it once and you only do it for one of the positions. So if you grab Lamar Jackson in the 3rd round, you aren't picking a TE until all of the RB/WR/Flex positions are full. And never reach early for Kicker or Defense.

Tucker Kraft tore his ACL. He is out for the year.

I only had Kraft in like three leagues

I need a fill in for this week and it’s slim pickings. Pitts I guess?
