"Ensuring" is a bit of a stretch. He should have left it to the FCC to assess it.

Would not be the first time I've said he doesn't have to open his mouth.

He should have stayed out of it.

I would have been interested if it would have been handled similarly to the budlight situation.

Isn't the FCC's job essentially to regulate what goes on air and if it breaches their standards it can lead to fines and loss of license? I'm not sure what he could have possibly breached with what he said, so unless there were a ton of complaints it was a weird scenario. Comedy is one of those things that most things are fair game and shouldn't be censored. Then again, I watched Horrible Bosses on TV when I was there and they censored 'Mother F'er Jones' every time it was said in the movie which is insane.

Kimmel hasn't been good in over a decade anyway, the show was probably out the door before this whole thing happened and now with the backflip they can't really axe it.
