It can't have been ab out his play. And his contract was manageable. It had to be about attitude and maybe outside behavior issues.

I like him enough as a player that I'd be in favor, but I don't really know how serious the negatives issues are. And Makuba has been pretty good. And I'd much rather see an upgrade at outside CB...

Unfortunately, I think we burned our bridges with CJ. Loved him when he was with the Eagles, but I doubt he'd want to return.

Demeco Ryans alluded to communication issues in the secondary, so perhaps it was performance related. He blew some coverages last season too, but his playmaking (6 INTs) made up for it.

Good luck and hope he can land himself on another team who really need his services.

We obviously let him go for a reason… And the Texans have made the same decision so there has to be something there in terms of attitude or something along those lines? He’s had a lot of teams in a short space of time so that’s definitely something else to consider.

I heard rumors of a domestic situation the ultimately led to us trading him. Anyone else hear that?

At this point… Bring him back and put him in the slot! Move Coop to outside corner because we are thin on numbers and Adoree has been a waste of space.

I saw something online that suggested that.. would think if it has any truth we might find out soon with him getting a suspension.

I beleive there is a rule that prohibits his return after we traded him unless he played a minimum of 4 games. Unfortunately he was release after 3 games. I don't kow if there's a loop hole there.

The one that I would like back is Isiah Rogers (rodgers?)

He was released by a 1-5 team that only had him on their practice squad, that should be a red flag big enough to wrap around the earth 40,000,000 times with slack left over. If it's not severe character issue related then he must have a serious injury that makes him unable to play anymore, it's likely one of these two things.
