I think the most shocking thing is how quickly he's developed in only two seasons. He's not that far removed from being a safety at a small school. Total steal late in the third round. Amazing pick.

They both suck. Trade them this Offseason for 8th round draft picks.

We talk about prospects coming into the NFL that are "generational talents" --- you know ... the kind of guy that enters the league and dominates at his position from day 1. Then for some reason fans seem to think if you don't do that, you are a disappointment. Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt, Moro Ojomo, Nakobe Dean, etc... are examples of guys with great potential that needed coaching, developmental time and experience. It's the normal path for young NFL players. Even QBs really need 6-8 years to become the best versions of themselves. Fans should be realistic and have patience. I like to look for flashes of greatness early and that keeps me optimistic.

This is why rookie contracts are designed like they are.

I think one of the things I like the most is very few people had him rated that highly of if I remember correctly.. a lot viewed the pick as a reach but we definitely made a good selection

Hunt now has 6.5 sacks, 50 tackles, 2FF, 2 INTs, 1TD and has allowed a 6.2 passer rating when targeted in coverage.

I mean for where he was drafted and that he was a project player (who played Safety not that long before coming in to the NFL) thatโ€™s so impressive.

It's safe to say that Clint Hurtt, Jeremiah Washburn and Bobby King seem to be doing a great job at positional coaching on this defense.

Thatโ€™s why we are trading Smith and McKee for Maxx Crosby ;)

Hunt lead the team in both sacks and interceptions. I think he is the first Eagle to do that

Oh, he was also the tied leader in forced fumblesย
