This AJ Brown story is getting louder and louder. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t an Eagle next year. I’m personally tired of his antics.

Trying to protect the lead ? Kinda early for that though. Need to keep the pressure on. Look at Detroit the how they played last two games.

They've been playing waaay too conservative with the lead. Trying to salt away games in the third and with a single score lead. Our defense has bailed us out a few times and against some really good teams. Let's stop putting it on them to pull our ass out of the fire. Play to put the games away and not just protect the lead.

Our next four games are against teams allowing over 110 yards per game on the ground so it should open things up a bit.

Hurts definitely didn't look right after his head bounced off the turf. They picked up the flag but it was still a bad hit on a defenseless player who had given themself up. Even in the post game press conference, he was more forthcoming than usual. I wouldn't have expected him to admit they had this game circled. Him admitting it was out of character.

We didn't complete one pass in the 2nd half?

He didn’t get hit there, his head hit the ground from his slide.

His shoulder was hit and then his head hit the turf, it was not a penalty but he was clearly injured on that play

Hurts was concussed, more people are starting to realize it, terrible job by the broadcast not saying anything

Terrible job by NFL doc not even test him in blue tent after the play

Hard to believe…the "on the job” training for KP is absurd. Lesson should have been learned already with BJ…

I think its time to get real here, Jalen will never have a consistently good OC, the minute the OC turns out to be good he will get offered a HC job the following year and will be gone.

It's time for the Eagles to just let Jalen call his own plays and be the teams OC, that's the only solution to this mess, otherwise we will keep seeing these ongoing bipolar ups and downs that makes no sense....

I'll drop this here for a little perpective. Moral of the story is we still don't know crap about how this season will go:

I will also point out that the opponents faced in the first 4 games last season were not quite as good as the ones faced so far this season.

2024 vs 2025

Week 1: Packers > Cowboys

Week 2: Falcons < Chiefs (yes, even this year's Chiefs are better than the trash ass Falcons)
Week 3: Saints < Rams
Week 4: Bucs = Bucs

Net: 2 better teams face, 1 identical team face, 1 worse team faced

First half I said "wow I can’t believe how creative the play calling is and we’re getting everyone even Metchie involved” and then the second half happened.

I just can’t understand what happened? Hurts completed zero passes in the second half but I don’t feel like that was all on him? The offense felt so stale and predictable.

Concussion on the play the flag was taken back. They most likely will not admit it now because he would have to go into protocol and miss the next game.

He got hit on the shoulder.

No one has said otherwise. He still hit his head on the ground

I'm suggesting you are wrong and missing the obvious effect of that play. Jalen looked hurt. There was a huge hit to his throwing shoulder (once again). He stayed in the game and toughed it out. He did not look concussed. But he was unable to connect on any passes.

You and others have insinuated that it was a hit on a defenseless player. It was not.

Sorry never said it was

They showed another angle on tv. He hit his head. He was not hit in the head by the bucs player. He may have hurt his shoulder also. Maybe the shoulder was the main reason for the bad throws. Bottom line he was injured on that play. Shoulder head or both. Probably a mix of both

There was no indication he was concussed. Helmets hit the ground all game long. There is video proof he took a huge hit to his throwing shoulder and it shook him up.

On 97.5 a few minutes ago they said he went into the medical tent. They did not say why but they mentioned his head hitting the ground but not the shoulder but that shows him being hit in the shoulder and slow to get up. The other shot shows the play better

I don't care what conspiracy theorists are speculating. The obvious thing that happened was a huge hit to his throwing shoulder and an inability to connect on passes after that hit. Why does there have to be some kind of "cover up" for something that nobody (no refs or league officials or trainers) seemed to think happened (a potential concussion)?

You apparently forgot this happened before. 2 or 3 years ago. Concussed in the game and stayed in. But it came out later he was concussed.unless it was Wentz but I know this happened not that long ago

I've also seen him stay in and finish a game with a grade 2 shoulder strain after taking a big hit on his throwing shoulder.

Yeah, the point is just cause he stayed in the game. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t injured.
