It’d be nice to know why he went to the medical tent. Will be interesting to see if he shows up on the injury report this week.

Another shoulder to be concerned about is Jalen Carter

Yeah, the point is just cause he stayed in the game. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t injured.

All the evidence we have as fans is that it was likely a shoulder injury, not a concussion. So definitively proclaiming that he was concussed on the play and the team is willingly covering it up is pretty far fetched. If they suspected at all that he was concussed, checked him for that in the tent and then conspired to put him back in the game that could potentially lead to another Tua-style event. I seriously doubt that's the case. They most likely looked at his shoulder and asked him his thoughts on it.

Despite all of the winning, I think AJ wants out.

I'd be very surprised if he's on the team next season.

Just like last year he will have some big games and everything will be fine.

I love our Punter. Might be one of the best in the league.

If he pulls a Tyreek Hill and leaves to "be the man and have all the balls thrown to him"- HUGE MISTAKE. That would screw his career up for good. Chiefs won without Hill, too. The Eagles will win without Brown- they will replace him and life goes on.

I missed the game, how did we only have 19 yards on 7 drives in the second half?

Finished that half with negative yardage if you count the safety to end the game (-16)

I’m all for the "winning” culture just strange our offense dies for such long stretches. Another win by incredible special teams

Agree, good post.

The Offense forced him the ball in the 2nd half against the Rams, and it worked. The forcing him the ball against TB in the 2nd half, welp, that didn't work AT all.

I want more TE involvement. Calc was open a few times on his patterns in the 2nd half, and Hurts missed him. Didn't even look his way. He looked so confused in the 2nd half. Maybe the lack of TB blitzes from their D, and more D zone coverages, just discombobulated the Eagles O.

Concussion on the play the flag was taken back. They most likely will not admit it now because he would have to go into protocol and miss the next game.

I’m not sure he was concussed (and I doubt we will ever know) but that flag being picked up (especially with the flags given to Baker) was egregious.

I know AJ isn't getting a lot of the ball, but what's his beef? Does he just not get on with Patullo? Has he fallen out with Jalen? There's something weird going on here. I don't like that we're the only unbeaten team in the NFC and just had a tough win against a team that usually has our number but we're talking about WR diva behaviour

I thought it was a pretty good non-call. I think the defender was trying to pull out and minimise contact. I'd be unhappy if the Eagles had a call like that given against them

So watching the game yesterday, Tom Brady basically said, Tampa's corners are jumping the routes on Brown, because they don't believe Brown has the speed to run past them. If that's true it certainly is cause for concern.

So is he still carrying that hammy?

Possibly. Good news though, the teams coming up are not as good as the 4 teams we just beat. Meaning the offense should put a complete game together in week 5.

I understand the sentiment, but there is no other AJ Brown. There is no replacing his ability to take over a game. Even this past weekend, he was drawing extra coverage. Maybe they should listen to what he has to say.

^^^^

Correct. If AJ is drawing a bracket covering between the S or LB or CB, then Hurts needs to recognize that and then find the 1v.1 coverage. Which will be on Smitty or the TE who is running a crossing route or a seam route. UGHH. Hurts missed this read a few times in the 2nd half. Too much focus on getting the ball to AJ.

Side note: you got me thinking about what I saw. I saw Hurts get slammed at least twice- VERY hard hits. I wonder if he was groggy in the 2nd half?

Is tanner mckee healthy now?

Yall remember when hurts scrambled with the ball, got hit, flags flew and refs picked them up. Hurts was very slow to get up. I think from then on hurts hadnt thrown a completed pass. Possibe concussion..

Hmmmm Hurts could been a bit woozy after that hit. BUT, if so, then shouldn't the Coaches see that? Adjust the play calling? Put QB2 in for a drive?

That is what I have been saying, plus his shoulder was possibly injured

So watching this game, I was wondering if Jalen normally plays worse in hot temperatures? I new he played for alabama and Oklahoma but that was collage?

I don't think it was temperature related. He was great in the first half. Seems something was off after the hit he took where they picked up the flag, whether it was concussion related, or his shoulder getting jacked up and him just gutting it out.

Really, just seems like he was off completely during the second half. Hope if better at Denver?
