Posted Monday at 04:58 PM3 days How pissed off would you be if Howie trades him before the deadline? I realiae the dead money would be huge but at bis point would it be worth it in the Eagles eyes?

If the Eagles aren't going to use one of the best WR's in the NFL they need to trade him. Get some picks. Or trade him for a top CB, or edge rusher. This team clearly wants to run the offense like it has no talent on it. So lets get rid of the talent and make it reality.
Monday at 06:07 PM3 days Keep him and make sure he gets 5-10 targets a game. He's a better target moving than on stop routes.
Monday at 06:21 PM3 days Teams know their only hope to beat the Eagles is to get A.J. frustrated enough that Hurts starts forcing it to him. Why? Because when you force it, that's when you're more likely to turn the ball over. And the Eagles have been very, very good at not doing that, which is why they've been so hard to beat (the one game they've dropped over the last 20, they lost Hurts in the first quarter and turned it over twice - this isn't a coincidence). That's not to say the offense has been good, because it hasn't been. But the uncomfortable reality is that what's best for the team right now does not appear to be what's best for A.J. And that's a him problem.
Monday at 06:37 PM2 days I never would of said this before these last four games but I would seriously consider trading him. The caveat being that I would keep him unless the offer was exactly what we need and an overpayment. I would not trade him for picks. If we could get a stud CB, Edge Rusher, or some combination of one of those pieces and a good WR I would strongly consider it. It's becoming quite clear this team wants to win with defense and an ULTRA conservative offense and that plan is working. Not only that it won't be long before AJ becomes a distraction if he hasn't already. I would love to see them open up the offense and by that I mean the following: Less 12 personnel. WAY less running the ball up the middle with 12 personnel on 75% of first downs. Different and innovative route concepts (we saw it with the two plays to Goedert in the red zone but then it went away) that utilize the talent we have at WR. We run a HS offense and by that I mean their entire game plan and philosophy is "we have better players than yours so we will just run basic vanilla stuff and count our talent to beat yours." It is very frustrating to watch, but at the same time you can't argue with 4-0 and 19-1.

Unfortunately player for player trades are very rare in the NFL, especially in-season. Otherwise I'd love to kick the tires on a Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby.
Monday at 08:09 PM2 days Here we go again for the 3rd year in a row with this AJ wants out nonsense. He's not going anywhere
Monday at 08:14 PM2 days I love AJ but outside of a ridiculous return I don't see the Eagles moving him this year... After this season I wouldn't be surprised if he gets traded
Monday at 08:17 PM2 days He has not been productive except the game before last. Is he not healthy? Or the OC did not call his plays? I would the defense did not game plan against him as our offense has so many weapons. Barkley has not been as productive as last season either. He would be more a target of opposing defense. IMHO, the OC may be more an issue as most of the offense has been sub-par. This team has a lot of talents to play at the current level. As the season progresses, the situation should evolve and find the appropriate scheme.

(Like half what it normally is) Some of that can be the OC not scheming him open but he really is constantly complaining and it’s getting old. I don’t think they should trade him and he will probably be fine eventually but AJ is a pain and very much about himself. He attracts attention to himself and then blames everyone else.

I'm at the point where until I see AJ actually spell it out in big block letters that he wants out of here, this is nothing more than AJ being a quirky guy and this is all a big nothing burger...with cheese.I can think of one name who is sure to buy it hook, line and sinker though.

AJ has shown he can still be effective when used right, but for all we know, he may have lingering hammy issues.

I mean he wasn't happy after the super bowl win either saying it's not what he thought it was going to be or whatever he was trying to say. I'm sure I'm thinking of the same person lol
Tuesday at 12:37 AM2 days Trade Hurts, start McKee, AJ, Devonta, Goedert, anyone who can catch thrives.

(Like half what it normally is)Its a combo of both - Hurts just missed some throws in the second half and some of those throws weren't catchable, particularly that first deep shot where Brown had a step on his guy and yeah Brown isn't getting as open as he usually does - scheme, coming back from injury or whatever it is.

Can use the whole playbook too. We’re not there yet but can see where you are going with this.

Tuesday at 05:36 AM2 days Hurts is a substandard passer and the OC is a *****The idea that AJ has fallen off the map is laughably dumb. This crap has been going on with Hurts since the get go.Dude holds the ball forever. They won last year because Barkley was All-World.With that threat the defenses accounted heavily. Hurts as a substandard passer had his time to take a dump in the pocket then throw the ball when he got around to it. Even with time...he still would constantly roll out of the pocket and throw it away. This is Hurts and always has been.
Tuesday at 07:44 AM2 days The game on Sunday was a clear case of playing it extra extra safe in the second half to protect the lead, water down the entire offense go vanilla and get out of Tampa with a win.Hurts possibly being concussed may have also played into the equation, either way I don't like Sirianni, he is the luckiest mofo in this world, to have won a superbowl, win this many games without knowing a damn thing or doing anything meaningful is just luck being on his side (being in the perfect situation at the exact right time)... Sirianni needs to start playing the lottery, with his luck he will win a 100mill jackpot......I feel for AJ, bro probably will finish the season with around 500-700 yards/3 tds, he wants to go to the HOF and having such a down year towards the late 20's of his career will dent his chances....

I realiae the dead money would be huge but at bis point would it be worth it in the Eagles eyes?To be honest the cap stuff would be annoying but would it impact us next year? And if so how much?I’ve thought about this a lot since Sunday and to be honest I’m reluctantly done with AJ I think. The dude needs to keep this stuff in house and posting stuff like he does is just not on. Every year there’s some drama with this guy.Trade him to a bum team where he can get loads of targets but not win many games. He’s got to be better with the off the field stuff. I get that he’s frustrated and I get that he wants to be more involved (and he should be) but he’s not doing it the right way. He was targeted 9 times on Sunday! So they definitely tried to use him. I felt like a couple of the deep throws to him the route (or AJ) gave the pass no chance of completion.
