Jesus, we must be the only reigning champs on a 4-0 start in history of any sport anywhere to have a message board full of people saying trade this guy, fire that guy and start the back up to that guy.

I bet there are Saints, Jets and Titans fans having more fun watching their team than some on this board, it's f'ing ridiculous with this ish every damn year.

The game on Sunday was a clear case of playing it extra extra safe in the second half to protect the lead, water down the entire offense go vanilla and get out of Tampa with a win.

Hurts possibly being concussed may have also played into the equation, either way I don't like Sirianni, he is the luckiest mofo in this world, to have won a superbowl, win this many games without knowing a damn thing or doing anything meaningful is just luck being on his side (being in the perfect situation at the exact right time)... Sirianni needs to start playing the lottery, with his luck he will win a 100mill jackpot......

I feel for AJ, bro probably will finish the season with around 500-700 yards/3 tds, he wants to go to the HOF and having such a down year towards the late 20's of his career will dent his chances....

That is all that matters to AJ Brown. If he doesn't get his stats, he's not happy. He didn't get HOF numbers last year, which explains why the Super Bowl win was unsatisfying to him.

I don’t really see or agree with your point? So we aren’t supposed to react to things that players do or say because we are 4-0? What AJ said was yet again another slight at someone or people within the organisation. Why shouldn’t we react to that? Why shouldn’t we be annoyed by that?

React all you want. There is a thing called overreacting though ... and that's what this fan base and local media is famous for.

He had 9 targets yesterday and his open rating is way down. (Like half what it normally is)

Some of that can be the OC not scheming him open but he really is constantly complaining and it’s getting old.

I don’t think they should trade him and he will probably be fine eventually but AJ is a pain and very much about himself. He attracts attention to himself and then blames everyone else.

He had 9 targets of forced or inaccurate throws by Hurts . Some of them into double coverage. On top of that a high school offense. AJ Brown is in the right here.

Hurts is a substandard passer and the OC is a *****

The idea that AJ has fallen off the map is laughably dumb.

This crap has been going on with Hurts since the get go.

Dude holds the ball forever. They won last year because Barkley was All-World.

With that threat the defenses accounted heavily.

Hurts as a substandard passer had his time to take a dump in the pocket then throw the ball when he got around to it.

Even with time...he still would constantly roll out of the pocket and throw it away.

This is Hurts and always has been.

I suspect everyone here knows this. They are just playing stupid and willing to sabotage other parts of the team so not to blame Hurts... Its been the same story for 3 years and Hurts is always the one constant on the teams offensive struggles.

Now we have to pretend one of the top 3 WR's in the NFL is washed...

Yeah I wouldn’t disagree with that… But I think it’s fair to say maybe AJ should be traded? I mean he keeps pulling this nonsense over and over again. I get he’s a brilliant player but enough is enough with this social media stuff.

Why does everybody assume AJ is tweeting about the team? If any of you ever really paid attention to Brown, he clearly does not care for the Philly media and that tweet actually makes more sense if you look from that angle. The team is 4-0 and the media is constantly trying to bait him into saying something they can write about.

I'm sure he'd love to be more productive, but I don't believe in any way he wants to become a distraction and hurt the team. The media never understands him when he makes veiled references to them. I actually like what he does as he exposes them for what they are --- a bunch of vultures looking for a controversial "big" story that can divide the team rather than discussing the underappreciated elements of a team that has won 13 straight games.

But if he doesn’t care for the media and doesn’t want to give them any bait and anything to write about then don’t tweet out at all.

I can't really blame Hurts....I think it is the OC (the plays suck) and part of me, when I watch the game, think it's also AJ. The routes do not help him, but man.....the guy is getting ZERO separation.

He should be frustrated, but he's got to be better about not being a distraction. I'm sure Smitty and Barkley are also frustrated, but you don't see cryptic tweets on social media from them. Nick has got to get with KP and get him to scheme the WR's open, and to run more than just the same inside run for Barkley, because his playcalling right now is bad.

He can tweet about the media all he wants. It's hilarious when they don't know it's about them.

Hold on now, you're accusing people of having agenda's around a particular player? You're genuinely going to call those kettles black Mr Pot?

He's so effing immature. Might be on the same maturity level of Carter. Two great players but pain in the butts. 🙃

Trade Hurts, start McKee, AJ, Devonta, Goedert, anyone who can catch thrives.

The idea of trading Hurts is completely ridiculous because it would never happen.

That said, it is most certainly fair to wonder what this offense might look like with McKee (or more of a timing-based "passer" QB). It is so hard to pinpoint what the issues are with this offense. Sirianni/Patullo or Hurts? Or all 3 of them?

I've said many times on this board that I think Sirianni has this overarching philosophy to keep things simple and just let talent win out (basically, everyone beat their man). They never seem to design anything creative or scheme receivers open.

However, it is also possible that the reason why they don't do that is because they don't have confidence in Hurts running that type of offense. I mean, who knows, really. I'm not saying Hurts is bad...I'm just saying that it's possible the offense is what it is because it's catered to Hurts' passing and/or mental processing limitations. Not saying that is the case, just saying it's a possibility. We will never know.

The only thing we do know is that these offensive issues have been around the entire time.

2 SBs 7 years apart with new coaches and players rebuilt haven't cured Negadelphia and panic/anxiety. Some of these fans every week are "scared" of opponents and fall for every click bait tweet and conspiracy theory drama like teenage girls.

Aren't his day number anyway? We gonna have to start throwing money at the defense soon enough. If not this year next.

Qb1 overthrew him a few times. The one AJ had separation and would've been a td if he threw it out in front of him. QB1 just flat out threw it over his head out of bounds

I don't blame him. I don't hate him. I feel like, if he and Jalen are good, gooood friends. He should have had a conversation in the off-season. During team meetings, aside. He knows what he is doing.

Now, I feel like this is becoming something that cannot be sustained. The offensive woes and AJ. Is he running himself out of town being oppressive? He has a right to express himself. As a man, I would have kept it in house. Maybe he is saying that as well. Are we running him out due to our T.O. trauma?

All I know is. We can't have nice things for too long in Philly. I just don't go our way.

Almost every elite WR in NFL history and even the modern NFL wants the ball as much as possible - it’s part of who they are. They thrive on getting the ball, making huge plays and having huge games - they’ve been doing it their entire lives and careers all the way to the NFL level.

Almost every true #1 receiver is going to have this type of attitude - think of the top 5-7 NFL WR’s and name one that wouldn’t be frustrated with the amount of yards and catches AJ has through the first 4 games.

If you want a true elite #1 receiver on your team this is what they come with.

Nothing new.

You could tell they were trying to get him some targets in the second half of sundays game. The passing from Jalen was was pretty poor and coverage was also very good. If he catches a couple of those then maybe we're not having this conversation.

Have some of you ever considered a hobby that doesn't make you feel so Fing miserable? We're having sustained success that's basically unprecedented for this team. If that doesn't make you happy I hear model making and line dancing are quite popular. Do none of you remember the Chip Kelly years?

lol

AJ Brown started all of this, not the fans. Think again.

I'm not blaming the fans for what AJ said. But I do think there's a tendency in parts of this fanbase that wallow in the joy of having something relatively trivial to complain about when there's so much to celebrate and enjoy

Some fans seem to get that why -usually influenced by the local sports media.
