I don't blame him. I don't hate him. I feel like, if he and Jalen are good, gooood friends. He should have had a conversation in the off-season. During team meetings, aside. He knows what he is doing.

I think at this point it’s safe to say AJ and Hurts are not good friends. In fact I’m not even sure they are friends at all at this point in their careers.

I'm not blaming the fans for what AJ said. But I do think there's a tendency in parts of this fanbase that wallow in the joy of having something relatively trivial to complain about when there's so much to celebrate and enjoy

That might be true but that isn’t true of most of us. I certainly don’t want to be talking about AJ and this nonsense. We are 4-0 with issues that need to be resolved on the field. And if we solve most of those issues then we are going to go back to the SB. Those are the things most of us want to talk about not AJ tweeting cryptic crap.

He’s an emotional guy and needs to stay away from social media - does no one any good

He said some good stuff. Hopefully he gets his this weekend, and helps propel the Iggles to another win.

I will take back some of the dumb comments I made in this thread about him.

AJ is right. We need to get him the ball. That’s on JH and KP. Devonta as well. We usually are very good when AJ has a great game. So dial it up.

I’m just not buying it sorry. He’s a great player and yes he does need to get the ball more… But his antics and these tantrums (or whatever you want to call them) are not good and he needs to keep that nonsense in house.

Seeing some of the Hurts haters coming back out of the woodwork. Brown broke out with the Eagles and has had two roughly 1500 yards season and would have got close to that last year if he wasn’t hurt.

That said, Hurts was bad in the second half (concussion/shoulder related) and the offense is struggling under KP. May not be an easy fix this week. Denver D is really good and Surtain will be on Brown.

Unfortunately all I heard was me me me, I, I, I and a casual we.

Almost every elite WR in NFL history and even the modern NFL wants the ball as much as possible - it’s part of who they are. They thrive on getting the ball, making huge plays and having huge games - they’ve been doing it their entire lives and careers all the way to the NFL level.

Almost every true #1 receiver is going to have this type of attitude - think of the top 5-7 NFL WR’s and name one that wouldn’t be frustrated with the amount of yards and catches AJ has through the first 4 games.

If you want a true elite #1 receiver on your team this is what they come with.

Nothing new.

Aside from Jerry Rice.. how many so called "top wr” has actually won anything?

AJ is playing the squeaky wheel. He's going to get some grease and then the fans can all move their attention to the next outrage they can find. Squirrel!

The majority of the "top" WR's other than a few here and there (like Rice) come with that attitude. It's well known. How they handle it is a different story.

The routes, route design and route combination patullo has him running has been so bad, not too mention hurts misses him when hes open and forces it to him when hes covered.

If I were aJ id want to go to a team with a real OC and a qb who can get me the ball

Theyre not going to trade him nor should they but I understand his frustration, hes been criminally misused.

I hear you, what I’m saying is how many of them have actually won anything?

I’m sure a lot of them have. Take the top WR for each Super Bowl winner over the past 20-30 years - safe to say "a lot” of the likely had that type of attitude.

That said, AJ should keep this stuff in house. No need to bring it out to fans and the media.

You can say that about any position, only 1 team wins.

2022, AJ Brown 4th in the league in receiving yards, Eagles lost Superbowl.

2021, Cooper Kupp led the league in receiving yards by a wide margin, Rams won Super Bowl.

2019, Travis Kelce 4th in receiving yards, Chiefs one Super Bowl.

2015, D Thomas, 7th in receiving yards, Broncos won Super Bowl.

I could go on, but to say top receivers do not win anything is a little ridiculous.

Another way to look at it, 10 of the last 15 Super Bowl champions ranked in the top 10 in passing offense, the 5 that did not. The 2024 and 2017 Eagles, the 2015 Broncos, the 2013 Seahawks and the 2012 Ravens.

My buddy keeps telling me a j.Brown is leaving next season.I tell him not possible with a dead cap. He's asking how much. What's the dead cap space if AJ were to be traded next season?

I think he means hall of fame top receivers

I can see AJ getting traded next year, some team will come calling with the right offer.

Eagles may take the hit, I don't know how much the hit would be.

Without thinking too much, Randy Moss and Michael Irvin come to mind

Irvin won a few. Moss didn’t. Came close on the 07 Pats team.

I saw somewhere in the range of $20 of a dead cap hit. Not sure how accurate or true that is though.

That surprises me, but I have no problem standing corrected. Seems ridiculous he didn't get one on that team

I meant to also say sense the modern era, with the Mosses, and TOs and all that.

Kupp? Eh…I guess that’s close enough..but he’s not the type I meant…so I guess the closest would be Antonio Brown? If you consider him won of those hof top 10 game changing "diva” types.
