Just 2 games ago (for AJ, because he missed the 2nd Giants game, where he likely would have feasted like the rest of the offense), he had his biggest game of the year with 121 yards and 2 TDs...then complained after that he still wasn't being used enough. Prior to that, 6 catches for 80 yards. And an earlier game 6 catches, 109 yards and a TD.Some intelligent folks on twitter and in the blog posts have pointed out that defenses are running zone since AJ and Smitty will destroy man coverage. The routes shown are simple and not designed well to get the most out of it. Sirianni also has said for 2 seasons now that his top priority is efficiency and not turning the ball over. Hurts last year said they "took the straight jacket off" and earlier this year said they should not play scared, play to not lose. It's not Hurts. Nick wants to limit turnovers and play safe, conservative and lean on the run. Patullo has had to adjust since the O line was banged up and the run game wasn't there until recently. When they need to, all of a sudden they start launching it deep and both AJ Brown and Smith have been benefiting from deep passes. Goedert is also a safety net who is open because the two WRs are the focus.Hurts has his limitations and weak areas just like every QB, but the coaches are hurting the offense in the scheme, design, routes they call and playing safe and conservative. It's not Hurts fault that on 3rd and long Patullo calls a cowards draw, or keeps calling runs right up the middle for Barkley to get stuffed instead of getting him outside. Everyone takes accountability: Siri, Patullo, Hurts. There's also times AJ doesn't execute his full route, while other times he does and even last week did great blocking on run plays. Everyone is responsible to improve the offense. But it is a myth and simply wrong that Hurts won't throw to AJ. He does, and he has.One game that didn't make any sense was the Denver game, AJ was beating Surtain regularly and making catches, but all of a sudden zero balls are thrown his way, just like that, like turning off a switch... AJ quit on one of the routes which would have been a sure TD against the Broncos but by then AJ was getting completely ignored, he probably thought the deep ball was not coming his way, as he was ignored for a long period during the game, that is on AJ though for quitting, no excuses....It is most likely Patullo/Sirianni, these 2 baboons don't have a clue what the F**** they doing, they just lucky a perfect team of players are available to them... Have to agree with AJ on consistency, this Jekyl & Hyde type performances will catch them out eventually, doing great in 1 half and not doing anything the second half, example in the Tampa game Hurts had zero yards passing in the entire 2nd half, after destroying the Bucs D in the first half, like WHAT THEE F******??????

They won last year because Barkley was All-World.With that threat the defenses accounted heavily.Hurts as a substandard passer had his time to take a dump in the pocket then throw the ball when he got around to it.Even with time...he still would constantly roll out of the pocket and throw it away. This is Hurts and always has been.Hurts has his issues as a passer, I'll agree with that. But he brings a lot more to the table with his other talents.....a lot more. So much more that his issues as a passer can be overcome any number of ways. Most QBs have a lot of physical traits that help them to be productive from a stat perspective. But there is a bunch of traits that are not measured in the stat line or are not given a high degree of attention. Also, continuity with coaching and the offensive coordinator is a big part of a QBs success.....Hurts has had 4-5 offensive coordinators and 2 head coaches. Most fans and media dismiss this type of change as inconsequential. But, as the guy on the field that has to know the offensive inside and out, know every nuance of the passing and running game, and be able to read and react to a defense, some of those changes a new coordinator brings can hamper how the offense produces.Hurts can get better, as I believe he would have if Kellen Moore was still here. But when he continues to win and produce in high pressure situations, how can anybody complain? His leadership, calmness under pressure, his even temperament, his competitiveness, his team first attitude......these are some things those high stat QBs don't have. And it shows up in the win/loss column or when they fall flat in the playoffs. High stat lines mislead the media into putting the blame somewhere else most of the time. It's fancy, it's stylish, it's what the NFL wants and the fans get excited about.Hurts always takes responsibility for his mistakes.....and tries to get better. Teammates respect and follow Hurts. That's a big reason the eagles win so much.
November 15, 2025Nov 15 Patullo needs to be relieved of his duties, thats for CERTAIN. But AJ is not getting separation, either. Smitty IS getting open- constantly. No excuses. And to blab this sheeeit into the social media cesspool is just childish and totally unprofessional. He cares about himself so much that he doesn't care this garbage hurts the TEAM. That's a BAD look and a bad sign. Patullo should be gone as soon as the year ends, so shut up, get yourself open, and you just might get the ball.

I mean who can argue with that? You should forward this eye opening factoid to AJ so he can calm down and be happy. Kevin is that you?

I refuted the ridiculous claim that Hurts refuses/won't throw to AJ. I've said many times the offense should be doing more in the passing game. AJ should have more catches and productivity.

He's got 31 receptions on the season. He had 1 for 8 yards against the cowboys trashcan defense. He goes for entire halves with nothing coming his way. The only thing more ridiculous than Hurts ignoring him is your take on my post, and your dissertation on 4 and 6 catch games being some bar of proof to your point of absolutley nothing other than word games.Keep up the good work on your myth busting all the ridiculous claims. These will make AJ feel a lot better. I know I do now!

The statement that we only won because of Saquon’s monster year is asinine since this team was there a calendar year before that.
November 16, 2025Nov 16 I heard that AJ got sent the Principals office on Thursday. Had a 1 on 1 with the Big Boss. Sorry if it's already been reported. 🤭

November 16, 2025Nov 16 I was watching the 2018 Super Bowl and even though Goff led his team to 3 points all day... damn! that mental processing that he was doing was next level. Then I was watching the DC at Detroit playoff game last year and he was mentally processing all over himself... That is one BMF of mental processing. The way Stafford mentally processed all those FG tries in Philly this year and that 4th down pass that was 3 yards out of bounds in the playoff game. Another legend of mental processing.MUST SPIN FOOTBALL ON PITCH TO RB... fumble!1st read, oh look, Megatron is wide open!1st read oh look, Cupp is wide open!1st read, oh look, Puka or Adams are wide open! The mental processing is so astounding!

I wonder if Lurie has deeper concerns about Patullo and is trying to get to the bottom of it?
