I never thought I’d say this but I want AJ gone. I don’t care about his big mouth but I do care about his lack of effort. He’s totally dogging it out there. He got a bunch of targets tonight and showed little effort, poor body language, etc.

Yesterday to me he looked like he flat out quit on the team. Maybe he didn’t but Sirianni needs to get a handle on that. If that’s what happened then he needs to sit for a game to see if that knocks some sense in to him. Not only did he lack effort but he looked disinterested. Maybe I’m hyper focused on it right now but he doesn’t look engaged in the huddle. He doesn’t really react when he makes a play. He doesn’t seem to celebrate big moments. On that DPI call like he didn’t look interested. Maybe because he knew it wasn’t DPI? But you see receivers every game going nuts at officials to throw a flag and he was seemingly already off the field.

A player that "guits" looks like Ricky Watters ("For who? For what?"). How did Smith and Goedert look in your eyes last night? They both had a couple drops.

They looked interested. They didn’t play well, Smitty had some drops but I don’t think they lacked effort or interest.

Did Hurts look interested?

Yeah he did… but this is all subjective as it’s our opinions.

It is subjective, but Hurts doesn't display much emotion during the games. People often mistake that for disinterest --- especially when you compare him to more emotional, fiery QB leaders like Mahomes, Burrows, etc...

AJ is a person that has openly admitted to struggling with depression in the past and I believe it's still a struggle for him. But at no point in the game did I feel he checked out and it's not really fair to imply he did based on how his expression seemed.

And I’m not going to disagree with any of that. But for the most part know Jalen is a head down keep on moving kind of player. Steady and even at all times rarely showing emotion. The same isn’t true about AJ who regularly shows emotion and does bring energy. But he’s not done that for some time and he looks more and more disinterested.

AJ has checked out of a few routes this year. I understand his mental struggles. At what point does he become more of a liability than an asset? Id rather have an average WR that will play to the whistle then a star WR that has checked out. Our offense has shown the ability to be successful without him. I wonder how much a case can be made for Jalen feeling pressure to get him the ball and if when he did not play him feeling unburdened by the pressure to get AJ involved.

His targets were steadily increasing and then boom

Shhhh.....we can't be mean to AJ. He's very sensitive and extremely selfish. We have to support him in any we can. Which mostly involves him getting as many targets/catches/yards/TDs. Even though the Iggles will lose the game. He got his.
