I think we'll try Baha Mar next time since our main reason for Atlantis was the allure of activities and water park to keep the kids busy but they ended up really loving the snorkeling instead and did that a majority of the time. The dolphin training area and marine exhibits were super cool though, we'll probably miss that part of it.

It's light years better than Atlantis. I had no choice as my mom loves to gamble, so had to go to a casino. It's comparable to the Bellagio, but with a beach and water activities. Going on a sunset boat cruise tonight. If you come back, definitely come here instead of Atlantis -- better crowd, nicer restaurants and still has a nice water park from what I can see.

Yeah -- my mom only decided on this plan like 2 weeks ago, so had to take what we could get. Place is sold out and packed.

One nice thing about the Bahamas are the immaculate beaches and they don't seem to get hit with sargassum. Was there in June and didn't see any of it anywhere.

They created fake names and invoices, Minneapolis Department of Education was aware and did nothing

At the time, it was Safari Restaurant, which overall took in $12 million in federal child meal payments — Safari claimed to feed 4,000 to 6,000 kids a day. Its invoices and meal counts shown to the jury alongside the video.

An FBI agent testifying that an average of 40 people came and went during the six weeks it was surveilled. The FBI set up a total of 12 cameras at sites claiming to serve extraordinary numbers of meals.

Another was at a deli in Saint Paul, also registered by defendant Salim Sayyed, which claimed 1,800 meals per day. The video shown to the jury showed an average of 23 people a day coming and going. The jury was shown dozens of invoices, meal counts, and emails seized from Feeding Our Future's headquarters in Saint Anthony.

Some showed links to websites that randomly generated names and ages to create rosters of children who were served meals.

— And the kicker? Minnesota's own Department of Education had red flags. Massive spikes in reimbursement requests, impossible, impossible meal counts, and they still rubber-stamped the paperwork.
