Would not surprise me given Trump's now-almost 45-year vendetta against the NFL:

The Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961 forbids the NFL from having games air outside of their home markets between 6:00 PM Friday and 11:59 PM Saturday starting with the second Friday in September and continuing through the second Saturday in December. Given recent events, including not all NFL teams honoring Charlie Kirk and Bad Bunny being announced as the Super Bowl halftime show, I wonder if Trump would try to expand that given his vendetta against the NFL that goes back to 1981 when he tried to buy the then-Baltimore Colts for $50 Million, which at the time would have been the record for a pro sports franchise only to be rebuffed.

Eagles-Commanders and Packers-Bears are currently scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20 with times still to be determined. That Friday night and Saturday (12/19-20) also has first-round games in the College Football Playoff taking place, airing on TNT and ABC. Could Trump try to force the NFL to replace Bad Bunny as the halftime show with say Kid Rock (who is very popular with Trump supporters) unless the NFL agreed to an expansion of The Sports Broadcasting Act of 1961 to include first-round games in the CFB Playoff? I could see Trump issue an Executive Order blocking the NFL from playing those games on Saturday 12/20, forcing those games to Sunday 12/21 and forcing the NFL to give FOX a doubleheader the following week, most likely Friday 12/26 as a makeup on a week the NFL already has a Christmas Day doubleheader on Netflix and a Saturday tripleheader on NFL Network in addition to the normal prime time games? I could see Trump go there for spite if nothing else.

    It's possible but not likely they would play Friday afternoon 12/19 (first CFB playoff game is Friday night). More likely, if Trump did block the NFL from playing 12/20, they would give FOX a new doubleheader Christmas Eve to complete Week 16 with Packers-Bears moved and most likely Patriots-Ravens or Falcons-Cardinals the other (Commanders play Christmas Day against the Cowboys to start Week 17).
