The team has done a great job in the 1st and 2nd rounds. That said we are not getting any production in the last 3 drafts in rounds 3 thru 7.

3rd round CB Ringo can't cover or tackle. 3rd round S Brown can't cover or recornize. 3rd round Edge Hunt giving us no production at all vs the run or pass

No day 3 picks from the last 3 drafts are getting on the field.

We got out played today on both sides of the line. Edge rushers can't get to the QB, injured O line can't open holes in the run game.

Our poor drafting last 3 years in rounds 3 thru 7 is now apparent on the field.

You forgot can't tackle.

I think the 3rd round picks could be better if Howie wasn't always wheeling and dealing on day 2. He passes on better players to add more picks in later rounds.

Ojomo is giving decent production considering his draft position (7th round).

McKee is a great backup QB and most definitely has starting potential (6th round).

Trot Jr. (5th rd) looked solid when he has seen the field ... he is just blocked by an All Pro (Baun) and 1st rd pick who is looking pretty damn good (Campbell).

Waiting for Robinson to get in the DT rotation.

Let's include Ojomo as a decent pick, 7th round in 23. He's not the player the media hyped him to be this past training camp, but he is a decent rotational piece especially for the 7th round. Good pick.

Steen in the early 3rd of 23 is a decent starting OG. Good pick for the early 3rd round.

We also received 4 comp picks in 23. a 3 #98, a 5 #171, a 5 #172, a 6 #210.

So with those 19 picks in three drafts we have the above mentioned two players making positive contributions.

McKee was a great 6th round pick, but if Hurts stays healthy this year he will never play for us. Next year in the last year of his contract. We'll only get a 4th or 5th round comp pick if we let him walk. He won't want an extension with us for 3-5 mil a year when he could make 20-40 mil as a starter. And we could get an early 3 from the Saints, Jets of Dolphins so Tanner will be traded this off season, probably at of just prior to the draft.

Shipley has some value as a back up RB but we haven't seen much yet. Trotter can play in the league but with an all pro and a future pro bowl bowler in front of him both playing every snap, his future chances of playing without an injury will come for his next team. Or he'll take a modest extension and stay an Eagle, He has the ability to contribute. Maybe Mondon can play at some point. Kendall might be able to start at C some day. They are dressing Toth over him now. I like Hinton and maybe he can play RT in a year or two. Wilson is a blocking WR so has some limited value.

We traded picks for players. Dotson had that big catch in the SB. We traded a 3, which is a starter, for he and a 5. So we traded a starter for that one catch. We traded or swapped picks for Howell, good trade with Mckee leaving after the season, Bigsby horrible trade of a 5 and a 6, bad trade with the Raiders giving up a productive DT for Bennett who has barely seen the field.

All in all, after great picks in the first two rounds, we have done a poor job the past three drafts with 19 picks in rounds 3-7. For a team who constantly preaches about prioritizing both lines, we have for some reason stopped reinforcing them. Our D line has 3 good players from Georgia. It is not a strong group. We lost so much in the off season and Howie should never have traded Booker. Without Carter and Davis it would be one of the weakest D lines in the league. Howie really failed this off season there. And our vaunted O line has injured players, both our C and LG had serious surgeries this off season and are playing hurt. We miss Becton and the great Lane is close to the end and fighting thru injuries. Bottom line we need massive upgrades on the D line and a starting RT and OG and depending on the C's back and Kendall we may need another C. Lots of work to be done. We need to do much better after the 2nd round.

We could've had Becton there all year and he wouldn't have made a blind bit of difference because the problem is outside Steen and the left interior. Becton being missing is a minor concern at best, the issue is 3 of the 5 Linemen are dinged up, and our depth is Toth and Pryor, I still make Pryor as a better guard than Toth, Pryor was good enough to play starting guard elsewhere, Toth has started 2 games in 5 years if the penny hasn't dropped by now it isn't gonna, I assume Howie keeps him around for salute to service month every year.
