Ipiggles
Watched this video of discussion today about Eagles ongoing injury issues past 3-4 years and why that may be happening. Regardless of why, its uncanny how often it happens to this team. After a while, it's no longer just happenstance. Something is up...
seengreen
Yes. But, eventually can we constantly blame the newly formed training staff year after year?
NOTW
Yeah they brought in leaders for both medical and conditioning staff from teams that had won awards for both and had healthy teams. Every team has injuries but it really seems the Eagles have a major problem there. Is it possible that a factor is in their scouting and the quality of guys they're bringing in? Like more injury prone or "soft" players?

brkmsn
The entire premise of this thread is comical. What caused this injury? It's obvious. The Eagles didn't cause it, but it did happen. People need to wake up and stop pretending that somehow we can control all situations and prevent injuries. It always comes down to some abnormal situation. A player can make the same cut hundreds of times in his career and just one time, his knee gives out. You can't get a fortune teller to inform you when to not "go out there." It's like eating or drinking something --- you do this all your life and on rare occasions, you do it wrong, and choke. That's not the norm, it's the exception. Once it happens, you can't do anything to change it.
jblah
Maybe its the way they practice? I don't see other teams having this level of injuries and the season hasn't even started and its not just 1 year...this is year after year. They need some of that Chip Kelly protein shake. wonder if we can hire him to be our strength and conditioning coach.
Runtherock
Its really unbelievable. Two prime free agent signings last year, you get one game out of one of them. Last year’s first round pick out for the season this year. This year’s prime free agent signing— out for who knows how long. This year’s first round pick, out for who knows how long. Last year’s 2nd round pick fought a foot injury all year, they say. It never ends and it is not like this everywhere. In-sane.

EaglesRocker97
The injury issues with this team have been nothing short of maddening for years now, but in 2020, I think you can expect a healthy dose of pre-season injuries leaguewide with these guys having absolutely no OTAs or minicamps and their training routines left up to themselves. And if you think there have been a lot of injuries during training camp, just wait until the first few weeks when these guys go from 0-60 in a split second stepping into a live game with zero preseason games to get acclimated.
