It isn’t one player, it isn’t one coach, it is everyone and they all need to get it together. If they do then we know what this team can achieve.

Far too many stupid penalties, communication issues, and just overall mental mistakes for a team that just won it all to be making. What I was trying to say is yes our lines are not as before, but far from the End of the world that some people are trying to make it out to be. In fact we are still pretty good, but the lines have to jell , mistakes have to be fixed, and coaches have to adjust and call better plays. Stick with the run plays would be a welcome change. We have several easy games ahead to win and build more confidence. Possibly let some players heal, so that they are fresh in the second half of the season.

About the only time we run is when Jalen is under center and I think he has only passed from there around 5 times all season. So as soon as the D sees him get under center, they know a run is coming and they crash the box. That's a bigger reason why there's no lanes.
October 10Oct 10 The offense has given up 18 sacks while the defense has recorded only 9. Sacks are not a perfect indicator but they are a pretty good one, and in this case, those numbers match the eye test. Both of the lines, which are supposed to be a strength, are a weakness. Solve that both ways and they resume being a Super Bowl contender, but that is hard to do mid-season. Carter, Dickerson and others getting healthy would be a start, but even with that I am not confident it is going to happen.
October 12Oct 12 I don't understand why our backup Guards are all under 310..that is not what we have done or had here...our guards have been big boys that can handle the big fatties at DL yet mobile enough to pull when we ask that of them...

Thanks to the Eagles for their Area 51 injury policy for that.I've been expressing my concerns about Edge since March. You can make the case they lost 3 or of their 5 best pass rushers from last season. Sweat, Milton, BG. And they did very little to replace them. They tried to go cheap with upside to save money for future contracts, which is understandable, and so far it's burned them. This is it. Our lack of top tier talent at edge is exposing our CB’s and amplifying the step down in talent there.
October 14Oct 14 To say they're not as strong is being so polite. We have no edge rushers other than Smith. Read the D analysis today at Bleeding Green Nation. DT Young is playing like he's not an NFL player and we are getting nothing from the 10th pick in the 4th round, Robinson. Howie foolishly traded Booker. Ojomo can move but can't hold his ground at the point of attack. The pass rush sucks. We can't stop the run or pressure the QB. And these two CBs with Q out and the rookie S playing like a lost dog wandering the neighborhood, Jefferson and CO should get 350 plus yards passing on Sunday
October 15Oct 15 Injuries and lack of depth is the maim difference this year. Foolishly traded Kinnard and Booker before the season. The replacements of Toth and Young have been God awful. They would have come in handy right away this season. Regretting those moves. Along with Rodgers and Becton in offseason. If kept, that's a Superbowl roster with depth now. Now, we are spinning wheels and will have to swallow what comes along, til guys get healthy and reinforcements from trades/signings come in.
