Of course we will win another game but my current prediction is 8-9 (possibly 7-10). Things can change but I don’t see a win against Minnesota and then we face NY again who just bullied us.

Cheer up. We had too much complacency and needed a good kick in the ass. If the Denver and Giants game is not a wake up call..then we are in trouble. But I suspect Eagles will make some kind of change.

Yeah definitely comes across as a guy who came up with a narrative about Hurts years ago and refused to let go of it or admit he was wrong. Definitely seems like race is a big part of that.

Vinny Curry explained it well on the after game podcast, why the issues with the CB are being amplified. Edge rush is pretty much non existent.

The amount of missed tackles is scary. And the amount that if the tackle was made, would have resulted in loss yards and halted scoring drives. This tells me the defensive schemes were working allowing our players get through the lines, the execution just wasn’t there.

I’m a massive fan of this iteration of the team but this game has me very worried for the first time in a long time.

I posted during the the Rams game that Hurts is terrible. I was so sick of walking on eggshells with this guy. He's not a great quarterback. He never drops back and gets rid of the ball. He just sits there and holds it. He doesn't have confidence in his reads, receivers or whatever. I don't know. Hurts has too many stretches where he's just downright terrible. The reason why he don't throw many pics because he doesn't take chances. He'll just take the sack or throw it out of balance. He's basically played two or three good quarters the entire season and that's unacceptable with the level of talent they have at the skilled positions on this team. Hurts is just indecisive. He's a scared to make plays with his arm. He doesn't have the confidence in it.

The whole team layed down like a bunch of dogs. The giants had the 25th ranked pass defense and Hurts still cant figure out how to find the open man. A RB that had around 100 yards all season they gave up 150 yards. The defense couldn't handle a rookie QB with a 3rd and 4th team WRs. They got bullied by a 1-4 football team in all 3 phases. It looked an awful lot like they were quitting again. Just like 23.

This is just unexcusable.
Adoree Jackson can retire already, he just doesn't even care anymore.

Patullo, after the game against Denver when I thought he didn't had bad calls, surprise me with his worst game of his (I hope short) career as an OC. To me, he can already go. Find someone else that has some experience. Use this "mini-bye" week to create something simple for the Vikings game and let him expand a little until the bye week where you can work a bit more. Jesus Christ how hard it can be to run an atleast capable offense with AJ Brown, Smith and Barkley as your main weapons. Right now seems like we're at "ask Madden" calls level.

It almost always feels like that, when things are bad, it seems everything is bad. Not just this or that, but literally...everything. Offense, Defense and STs (aside from the blocked kicks) have all been bad this year. We just got smoked by a rookie QB, rookie RB, average OL and Salvation Army receivers. Giants have a good front 4 but not much else yet they made the Eagles offense look like...well, like they've looked most of this year. The KO return unit is a big WTF...we traded 2 picks for Bigsby to be a returner and the MF'er can't even field a Kick. Bad trade by Howie.

We can point to many things for this, in no particular order...

OL is not playing well
DL cannot get any pressure
Have to blitz to get pressure, exposing CBs
Hurts is off
Play designs are lackluster (if a flip pass to your TE is your most creative play and don't have anything else...woof)
STs keep losing the field position battle
Injuries

It's really a domino effect. One thing affects the other and continues down the line. Injuries to OL > OL not playing well > can't run the ball > no run game impacts pass game and Hurts > 3 and outs > defense always on the field...etc etc
