Hurts is off
Play designs are lackluster (if a flip pass to your TE is your most creative play and don't have anything else...woof)
STs keep losing the field position battle
Injuries

It's really a domino effect. One thing affects the other and continues down the line. Injuries to OL > OL not playing well > can't run the ball > no run game impacts pass game and Hurts > 3 and outs > defense always on the field...etc etc

Aside from the overthrow to Smitty and the INT, I think Hurts played well. 283 yds, with a pass and rush TD. He played well enough to win IF your defense doesn't go out and allow the worst redzone offense in the league to score TDs on every single redzone possession. I could be wrong on that, and maybe they got a FG once, but it certainly seemed like they got a TD every time they got in the redzone. I agree that the run game is awful right now, and I get that we had key guys out on the defense, but there's no excuse for allowing the Giants to do what they did last night.

If Hurts wasn’t good he wouldn’t have been to two SBs, won one and was MVP of that SB. He can make plays. Does make plays. You might be mentally retarded or just boob.

Hurts can occasionally turn it on. But no. The product you are witnessing on the field is a consistent theme with him at QB . He's a QB who needs everything around him to be right in order to thrive. Hes a game manager. Also, as usual. when the defense adjusts and goes into zone he becomes the worst QB in the league.

Hurts played well in the first half. But he also made a stupid decision to run the ball on 3rd down at the end of the first half, didn't pick up a first, no timeouts. Just bad situational awareness. On the INT, he had Brown wide open in the EZ for an easy TD and didn't see him. Goes back to the age old questions of "can he see the field". But obviously, this wasn't all on him. Much more blame to spread around. All 3 phases sucked arse last night.

Blankenship was the only one playing defense in the 4th quarter. He was in on every single play it looked like. Pay that man his money Howie.

I posted during the the Rams game that Hurts is terrible. I was so sick of walking on eggshells with this guy. He's not a great quarterback. He never drops back and gets rid of the ball. He just sits there and holds it. He doesn't have confidence in his reads, receivers or whatever. I don't know. Hurts has too many stretches where he's just downright terrible. The reason why he don't throw many pics because he doesn't take chances. He'll just take the sack or throw it out of balance. He's basically played two or three good quarters the entire season and that's unacceptable with the level of talent they have at the skilled positions on this team. Hurts is just indecisive. He's a scared to make plays with his arm. He doesn't have the confidence in it.

Hurts has not converted a second half 3rd down with a pass since the 4th quarter of the Rams game.

Giants had a Rookie QB, a Rookie RB, an average OLine, their top 2 WRs out, and yet they still had their way with our D. THAT, I did not expect.

Doesn't help that we had some injuries on our D, but my god, they are awful for the last 5 quarters.

Cheer up. We had too much complacency and needed a good kick in the ass. If the Denver and Giants game is not a wake up call..then we are in trouble. But I suspect Eagles will make some kind of change.

I don’t see it bud. This team has real issues and so many of them I’m not sure they can or will fix them. The vibes just seem off and I think with the injuries that’s going to be enough to derail us this season.

Think so too. Expecting KP to share play calling or get ‘promoted’ so someone else can step in.

I'm more concerned with the O Line issues and the CB issue than I am with the AJ issue.

facts. the trenches getting dominated is why this team lost two straight. They are no longer a strength and they have to adjust ASAP.
