Posted October 10, 2025Oct 10 Nov 4th is the deadline. It is time to bench Ringo. All the picks next year are wonderful but this years team is sinking. We need to trade for more help. A DE?, a CB?, anything that will help.
October 10, 2025Oct 10 Sadly, Howie’s in season trades rarely work out. Ajayi gave the 2017 team a little more boost but that was it. He’s already traded for Bigsby and Metchie. Neither have stood out in any good way. Bigsby has been flat out bad.
October 10, 2025Oct 10 It's really looking like 2023 all over again except the collapse is happening earlier in the season. Squeeking out some wins against good team while each week looking a bit worse till you end up with what we saw Thursday night. It's really unbelievable. The offense is a mess and it looks like the defense is catching up to them. Special teams can barely manage to make it to the 15 yard line on kickoff returns. Can things get any worse? There is not one player they can sign/trade to fix all that is wrong currently.

October 10, 2025Oct 10 Highly doubt a trade helps the team because the offense is straight balls. We can look at OC & Hurts gets some blame as well.Roll with what we have & retool once the season ends. And CUT burnt toast Ringo/Adoree. Literally Fing worse than bradley fletcher.

Hurts needs everything to be perfect to be successful, Oline, RB's, WR's, all being in sync with him at the same time...Feel bad for AJ & Devonte, 2 potential atg receivers who will end up not fulfilling their potential..Mcnabb took Eagles to the playoffs and NFC championships with mainly garbage WRs, if he had AJ & Devonte, Eagles would've had a few Superbowl trophy's in the nest wayyy back in early to mid 2000s...
October 11, 2025Oct 11 I’m a little torn to be honest… Unless it’s a stud DE or a good CB2 I’m not sure I’d trade? Howie hasn’t had a good offseason and his in season trades haven’t been the best.
October 11, 2025Oct 11 Eagles would need to trade for decent DE and CB to turn this around. Then cross your fingers the O-line heals or gets better. Whatever the issue is. Thats the only way to turn the season around.
October 11, 2025Oct 11 Roll with what they got for whole season, they ain't repeating anyways, so just finish 11-6, get maybe one playoff win, and then lose in the 2nd round.Re-start next for next season with OL, CB, and DE help.
October 12, 2025Oct 12 Well at least unlike 2023 this collapse is happening earlier in the season. There's still time to turn things around. And so far I don't see any juggernaut teams this year, every team has some sort of flaw. It's still wide open for the Eagles if they can plug the holes.

October 12, 2025Oct 12 Is Asante Samuel Jr. not better than Adoree Jackson? Or Eli Ricks? I could play 10 yards off stand there and barely try to make a tackle. I would be way cheaper too.
October 12, 2025Oct 12 What we really need is for an offensive coordinator to survive more than 1 season. Losing Moore hurt, just like losing Frank Reich hurt and Shane Steichen hurt when they each departed.
October 12, 2025Oct 12 Howie has not made good in season trades. They need a CB, DE, OG, and a TEAnd the biggest need an OCToo much.
October 13, 2025Oct 13 I wonder whether the better trades may be at OG? Sure try and add a competent CB but maybe try to fix the OL issues and get this offense going? CB2 has been awful and there are issues on defense but in most games they’ve done enough to give us a chance to win? Get the offense going (which has the talent to be elite) and that could be the trick?
October 13, 2025Oct 13 Howie is surely looking, but who knows who is actually available for trade. His trades so far (Metchie, Bigsby, Bennett) have been lackluster. I just hope he doesn't do anything stupid.

Yeah but in my opinion he either needs to trade for a real good player with a high rate of success or just hold on to the picks and reload next year.

There's been a few trades that I hated from the get go...the Golden Tate trade and even the Bigsby trade this year (right after I saw the news my first response was why the hell did we give up 2 picks for Bigsby, especially when they said it was to be a KO returner...it just never made sense to me). The Robert Quinn and Kevin Byard trades I at least understood, even though I didn't particularly like the trades at the time we made them.I just don't want another useless in-season trade where we give up something of value for nothing in return.

It starts up front......Barkley will continue to struggle with bad blocking, as our secondary will get torched with zero pressure from our front. Beef up in the trenches and hope our offense figures it out. Our two biggest let downs have been the OL and DL, positions that we typically dominate in the past.

They added proven players at a position that at the time needed it.I actually didn’t hate the Bigsby trade at first. I’d seen him and thought in small amounts that he’d looked good. That said with Dillon and Shipley it didn’t make a huge amount of sense. And then just to be a returner? Yeah I mean that made no sense at all. And so far it’s been a complete disaster as he’s actually hurt the team.

You can bring in a DE, a really good one but with Ringo or Adoree at CB you are going to get torched because they can’t cover for a damn second let alone long enough to get a DE home. The back end and trenches need to complement each other and right now they are so far from that.

We have secondary resources to move around, not ideal but can move around......and just lost Z. Smith
