Very refreshing game to boost the Eagles confidence. It was a hard played game and i pray everyone is healthy and no major injuries.

That deep ball to Smitty was no noodle arm, fool. Hurts throws a great deep ball. Do you even watch the games??

He's just a troll. He was complaining during the Super Bowl too.

Now that's what I'm talking about.

With Hurts, Barkley, Smith. Brown, and Goedart, we have enough weapons to keep defenses guessing. Today was good work. Not perfect, but good. It doesn't need to be perfect, it needs to be good enough to keep winning. Of course I want to see Barkley get going this season, but my concern, going back as far as 2023, has been Brown. He's too good to be so under-utilized. Glad he made such an impact today.

BUT HE ONLY TARGETS HIS TOP 2 GUYSSS!!!11!!!!

Good to get the win and see the passing game get clicking. A win is a win, but we really got lucky that Wentz did Wentz type things in this game. The defense is a serious liability...they can make plays in spots, but overall everyone is easily driving the field on us. Can't get off the field on 3rd downs. No pass rush. And what stinks is that I don't see their issue as being correctable this year barring some crazy trade by the deadline (which historically hasn't helped anyway).

I think the issues on offense are correctable (those to me are mostly a combination of injuries and play design) but have to agree with you on the defense likely not being correctable this season as those seem personnel related. This offseason we need to draft EDGE high and also make somewhat of a splash in free agency on the position and we also need to drat CB high as well. Honestly, at this point, can't hurt to see what either Nickerson or McWilliams can do at that CB2 spot.

Yeah on offense there is certainly correctable issues that can lead to better, consistent production. That said, it's concerning that Jurgens hasn't been great this year and now has a knee issue. Dickerson has had some issues too. Steen has been a downgrade in run blocking. So, the entire interior OL hasn't been good which is why we can't get the run going. Is that correctable? Only if Jurgens/Dickerson can get back to playing 100% healthy.

Otherwise, on offense, they're going to have to use the pass game to open up the run a little bit...and they need to be much more consistent about play calling and design.

On defense, yeah...Edge is highly likely to be our 1st round draft pick...though they also may need to address the OL as well (at least on day 2 of the draft unless there is a good FA to sign).

I hear ya. But here is something that troll can suck on- Hurts released the ball from the 11-yard-line, and Smith caught it at the 28, so that’s 61 yards in the air. Noodle arm my ass. 🤣

According to many on talk radio the offense still stinks and the defense played great. Did they watch the game?

I have a hard time listening to talk radio anymore. Every once in a while I turn it on just for pure entertainment. But for the most part, it's all engagement farming and there are far too many morons that are given air time.

in all fairness, our offense struggled a lot in the first half. You can't blame all that on the defense. they're going to get tired when drives aren't sustained on offense

I think that exacerbates the problems on defense, but the defense in general has been lacking any stopping power outside of a few well timed turnovers. We've been more lucky about the other team's offense making mistakes.
