I’m not sure it’s a good decision for him to come back. He’s not played much in a year. He’s been retired for what 8-9 months?! And he went out on the ultimate high.

If BG wants to - I’m on board. We need the help. Hopefully him and Smith can help the pass rush and we can get a corner by trade.

If BG wants to hire one of us to take his kids to school and make their lunches... who is stepping up?

He won't help the pass rush that much,. Probably will be better pickup to stop the run though.

The worry Id have is they’d see how BG gets on before considering whether they need to move for another DE? BG would add to the locker room vibes but I’m not sure what he’d add on the field?

We’d need his leadership that’s for sure. If I were him, I’d stay retired on a SB win.

BG was good last year in a limited role. Will stop the run and offer some pass rush.

It’s hard to say who would be available for trade who would definitely help. Hendrickson would be the big needle mover, but it’s looking like the Bengals are still trying to win and we probably couldn’t afford him anyways.

If we sign BG and get Nolan Smith back, that should really help the edge. We can then hopefully trade for a decent CB2.

I'd rather him stay retired...he rushed back for SB and reinsured himself as did Nolan Smith this year...just get a fresh face that can play in this scheme.

I’m just not sure that’s enough… Our pass rush has been pretty poor this year and Smith wasn’t exactly playing great (he wasn’t bad either). We also can’t really rely on him to stay healthy as he’s had injury issues in the NFL so far.

Can Seth Joyner still play? 🙂

Desperation move. But if BG wants to come back, ok. He won't help much for the pass rush but I think he can still be a good "edge setter" in the run game (which should in turn help our LBs make plays).

It may well not be. But I don’t really see a great realistic alternative. Maybe one of the Dolphin edge rushers.

It might just be that this ends up being a down year and next year we look at serious upgrades at edge, CB2, OL and probably OC.

For now though, BG is probably worth a shot and costs us nothing.

Smith is good imo. The triceps issues are a big concern though.

I love BG but think he should stay retired as a player. If they really want his vibes then get him in as a consultant of some kind. No need for him to risk his body any more

Feel the same. Get him in the building and involved if they want his presence. I don't think he will bring much to the table on the field and the man needs to rest his body after a great career.

Isn't he already "in the building" though? Do we know or not know that?

I only ask that because Kelce is pretty much always "in the building ". Has been since training camp.

Maybe Fletcher Cox is available as well?? 🙃

BG was still a very effective player last season. I don’t see anything bad from him coming back because it hasn’t even been a full season yet.

If we were talking about Kelce who lost 40 pounds and has to play every snap? No way.

We are talking about a player who was good in the Super Bowl and had some great moments during the season.

He would be the 3rd or 4th guy playing 15-25 snaps a game by December if needed that much.

PFT has confirmed that defensive end Brandon Graham will re-join the Eagles. Jeff Kerr of CBS Sports was the first to report that Graham is indeed returning.

BG coming back just highlights how much the young guns were overestimated for this season.

Did not see this one coming until very recently. Even then I shrugged off he rumors.
