I remember hearing stories about game day in NFL locker rooms. Guys would be lined up 10-20 deep to get their Toradol pain shot. It was found out to cause acute kidney damage. Today former Jet Nick Mangold died of kidney failure at 41. There shouldn't be any doubt about how and why he died.

He was diagnosed with a genetic kidney disorder almost 20 years ago.

My nephew is 28 years old and has already had 4 kidney transplants. 😟

I'm shocked he's still alive. On dialysis like 3 to 5 times a month. Weighs like 95 lbs. So sad. He has no strength to do anything.

When I hear about retired NFL players passing prematurely, I wonder how much their use 'supplements' and illicit PEDs back in the day had to do with it. I'd be surprised if there is much legitimate data about it.
