October 29, 2025Oct 29 I could see someone like Michael Carter to play slot if Vic's serious about moving Coop outside, but to me that's a question whether the downgrade at nickel is worth an uncertain upgrade outside, I'm not sure the trade off is worth it, outside corner I might've considered McCreary for that price but that ship sailed. At DE there are a few options but I'd be thinking rotation guys like Malcolm Koonce and Alex Wright, or maybe Cam Jordan as an outside bet to add some more vet savvy in the rotation, rather than trying to finagle Chubb or Jaelan Phillips under the cap.
October 29, 2025Oct 29 Every year there are about a dozen teams that are "all in" for the season that are willing to sacrifice future years to win right now. Every year, no more than 1 of them succeeds. You can make a big, splashy move that certainly upgrades your team --- but teams can still beat you on any given day and it only takes one post-season loss to end your run. A team can give up a premium pick for a premium player and do things to make that player's contract fit within the cap. But what happens when that player suffers a season ending injury soon after arrival? As much as we want all-pro players at every position, a good majority of the team will realistically be made up of solid contributors, role-players, and developing young prospects. I believe there's a knee-jerk reaction by fans to every underwhelming performance and then some of us seem to cover our eyes and refuse to acknowledge any positives we see along the way from the same players.

Even a solid veteran Safety in place of Makuba. Eagles will be facing way too many good offenses during the season and playoffs to keep half the secondary a disaster. You will also be asking Hurts to sling it out every week and hes not that type of QB. Nor is it for certain that the O-line is back to its Elite level.Yeah I think the Giants game has overly relaxed people. Yes we looked good, but they are a bad team and I don’t think we suddenly solved the weaknesses on the team which are:1) Edge; Yes hopefully Nolan and BG help, but they are both injury risks with recurring tricep issues. In theory we are relatively deep at Edge, but if we can add someone that we think can add more pressure and sacks than what we have then we should for the right price.2) Corner; I’m not convinced Ringo suddenly turned a corner. He played well against the Giants, but against a rookie QB and replacement level receivers. CB2 could be a major issue against the better teams. We have no idea if Bennett will be an upgrade or stay healthy.Wouldn’t mind adding interior oline depth either.

October 29, 2025Oct 29 This can’t be the CB trade? God I hope Howie isn’t done at this point because this does little to nothing really.

October 30, 2025Oct 30 I would not mind if an OT who can play guard or Center is in the possible considerations. We are thin there and one injury from oblivion. Situation that is worse than CB, or even DE upgrade.

October 30, 2025Oct 30 That has to be it for the Corner spot. I would think that they now have enough depth there. Get Bennett back or slide Cooper to the outside.

Love his energy and sometimes production. It's a bit more difficult to be a stud D Line player, with no Sweat/Williams out there helping Smith on the D Line. Their absence makes Nolan's job and performance a bit tougher.
October 30, 2025Oct 30 Depends on who the player is. I.E. if in some fantasy it’s Miles Garret vs a #2 corner, then edge.

Probably the best option to add a cb would be ASjr if he finally gets healthy here soon and wants a chance at a ring.

And in the hierarchy of Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt. Josh Uche, Azeez Ojulari, and Patrick Johnson, where would your identified players slot in? For example, I personally would slot BG in between Uche and Ojulari, so for me the Edge depth chart currently looks like Nolan Smith, Jalyx Hunt. Josh Uche, BG, Azeez Ojulari, and Patrick Johnson

It is hard to underestimate the value of live snaps.
