October 29, 2025Oct 29 Urm - he’s been pretty bad this year and it’s quite a big contract.Hopefully Fangio can make it work. Looks like DeJean is moving outside

Looks like DeJean is moving outsideWhy would you think that DeJean is moving outside because of this trade - because of the John Clark tweet? It's a depth move at best. No way is this guy in line to become a starter. He is, however, a nice piece to have if DeJean goes down.

October 29, 2025Oct 29 Might work, might not, but Howie surely has done enough to earn our trust. He's not given up a ton, and he is doing his best to put the team in the best possible place. It's not a blockbuster but is Classic Howie seeking out the value.
October 29, 2025Oct 29 Gut feel is I don’t like it. I mean we haven’t given up much to get him so there’s that but it doesn’t really move the needle much. We needed to trade for a CB who could be a good solid CB2… I’m not really sure this guy is that.

As his moves have stunk for the vast majority of the time, during this time of the season. Not totally his fault, of course. As it's difficult to get quality players at this point.

October 29, 2025Oct 29 I get Howie's in season record isn't stellar, but Metchie wasn't going to do ish for us, may as well shuffle the pack. That's why I am content.

October 29, 2025Oct 29 Ummm...I kind of like a slowly improving and figuring it out Ringo more than this guy.
October 29, 2025Oct 29 Author We originally dealt a 2026 5th (and TE Harrison Bryant) to Houston for Metchie (and a 2026 6th).We now deal Metchie (and a 2027 6th) to the Jets for Carter (and a 2027 7th).So basically:LOST:TE Harrison Bryant2026 5th2027 6thGAINED:CB Michael Carter2026 6th2027 7th

I think he did have one where Dpi was called.. but it did look like he was decent at blocking.

No way he sees his salary next year - if we want him back, will be a renegotiation to a lower number than he is currently scheduled to get
