October 30Oct 30 That stinks to hear, loved him. He was a great historian of music, he did great tributes to artists / events ect.
October 30Oct 30 my run in with pierre was at the louie louie parade. we marched behind his float pretty much the entire route down to the art museum. thankfully we had off from school, aka cut the entire day to go downtown.

Monday at 08:06 PM2 days The tributes from across the nation were impressive. Besides the bands paying their respects, his death was covered by the New York Times, New York Post, Rolling Stone, TMZ, and CBS Sunday Morning, among others.I always wondered if he was popular outside the Delaware Valley, because he was great to listen to, but was on regular radio (although you could stream the radio feed). It looks like he was pretty well-known across media.
