Posted November 1Nov 1 First of all, I am not as brave as my man @Slade so I won't predict free agency sighings except out own or trades. For a good read on those thoughts see Slade's post,It's pretty clear that edge, corner and tight end have to be priorities. At edge BG is a stop gap, Ojulari, Uche, and Okoronkwo are all free agentsCorner has been a question mark all year. Jackson is a free agent and Ringo sure didn't seize the day.Three of the four tight ends on the roster, Goedert, Calcaterra, and Granson are free agentsFree agency will also hit the OL (Pryor and Big Fred),LB (P Johnson and Nakobe), as well as S (Blankenship and Epps)Our own free agents - resign Blankenship, Big Fred, Uche, Dean, Mann, and Calcaterra. Let walk - Adore' Jackson, Ojulari, Okoronkwo, BG, Pryor, Hughlett, Howell, Dillon, Epps, Goedert, and DotsonDraft - 1 - Edge Mateo Uigalelei, Oregon. 6'4" 270 4.75 In addition to filling the roster with a stud we need a bigger edge which we lost when Josh Sweat moved on. Replaced BG2 - CB DJ McKinney, Colorado. 6'2" 190 4.47. Replaced A Jackson3 from Jets - OL Dmetrius Crownover, Texas A&M. 6'7" 335 5.3. Another shot at an eventual replacement for Lane, and a possibile RG with the size of Becton. Replace Pryor3 - Eric Singleton, Auburn. 5'10" 190 4.34. One of the fastest players in the draft. Replaces Dotson3 comp - TE Max Klare, Ohio State. 6'4" 240 4.75 Replaces Goedert4- Edge Patrick Payton LSU 6'5" 250 4.80 Replaces Ojulari4 Comp - RB Nick Singleton, Penn State. 6'0" 226 4.54 Replaced AJ Dillon5 from Atl - TE Martin Klein, Michigan. 6'6" 247 4.7. Replayces Granson5 from SF - S Dalton Brooks, Texas A&M. 6'0" 195. Replaces Epps and since Sydney Brown hasn't shown it yet he might be the #36 - QB Cade Klubnick, Clemson. 6'2" 210 4.75. Replaces Howell6 comp - OT Ethan Onianwa, Ohio State. 6'7" 345.
November 4Nov 4 Author Update - Eagles trade for Edge Jaelin Phillips which probably makes drafting 2 on the edge unnecessary. Not sure if the Jaire Alexander pick up makes any difference, but if Howie signs Asante Samuel Jr. it sure would. Jimmy Kempski who keep track of these things has the Eagles down for a 1, 2, a pair of 3's, a pair of 4's, and a pair fo 5's which includes expected comp picks. That would wipe out my 6th round. Hope @BigEd76 and Jimmy are in sync.
