November 2, 2025Nov 2 It’s simple. Low-risk move with the potential to be a CB2 if he can stay healthy. He’s better than Jackson and Ringo. Howie better draft a CB very high next year. This sucks fumbling around every week at such an important position.
November 2, 2025Nov 2 I love that Howie is trying to, but there's a reason that this dude is available and on his 3rd team this season? LOL. Fangio is probably like "Who? Don't care, he's not playing for me."
November 2, 2025Nov 2 Also, adding Secondary players is not an easy "plug and play" deal. They have to learn - for the most part - new coverages, schemes, blitzes, verbiage, etc...Adding a new RB, for example, you can just give them like 6 new package/plays to learn, a.k.a, the Jay Ajayi mid-season acquisition. Which, in hindsight was an awesome trade!!So, by adding new Secondary pieces, in Fangio's D, probably will amount to.........nothing. Especially in the short term. I hope I'm wrong and the new guys can contribute.Just my thoughts. And I'm an idiot who knows nothing about many things. 🥸

November 8, 2025Nov 8 The Eagles are 4th in passing TDs allowed at 8 through 8 games. They are 4th at passer rating allowed at 81.7They are doing this with a bottom 10 pass rush of 2 sacks a game. (so far)Stafford has 21 passing TDs this year. He got one on a 10 yard drive and a nice deep ball to Adams. He also had to settle for 6 FG tries instead of being able to take advantage of a 2nd or 4th corner. He also had a pick.I think the bad CB2 play is greatly exaggerated. Adoree was terrible the first 2 or 3 games. Not much has gone wrong since then other than a busted play or two.Adoree is also not really a CB2 problem. He is an Adoree problem. He takes bad angles. He faces backwards sometimes. He gets run over. He's just bad at football and should not be here.A healthy Bennett who knows the system or the lottery ticket of a healthy Alexander who gets the system down are more than good enough to win a Super Bowl.I will also take some outside DeJean with MC II in the slot over Adoree.

Considering the inconsistency on offense to begin the year allowed some opponents to control the clock against us along with a special teams group that was largely losing the field position battle, the defense has still managed to be "middle-ish."Until he went out last year, Dean wore the green dot and was becoming a good leader on the field. Having him back is a large positive. Getting Nolan Smith back should also be big. I didn't like much about Jackson early in the season, but I felt his coverage was better in his last couple starts. We'll have to wait and see how all the new faces fit in, but there reason for optimism. If our offense continues its current trend, that should benefit the defense as well. We saw a couple nice kick returns from Shipley as of late and if we can get something out of the punt return position, that could also have a positive effect.
November 12, 2025Nov 12 So do we get our pick back or a comp pick? This doesn't happen often enough that I remember what happens when the players doesn't even have a snap for the new team

November 12, 2025Nov 12 This is really weird.I could see him asking them to PUP him so he gets six weeks to rest and recover or telling them maybe IR as he rehabs more with the team.Just quitting is really strange.Do the Eagles own his 2025 contract tolled into 2026 after only playing 2 games or does being inactive on the Ravens and Eagles into November mean this contract is expired next season?
November 12, 2025Nov 12 Strange but sounds like maybe he is having some mental health issues hopefully he gets that straightened out.
November 12, 2025Nov 12 Good thing we didnt trade a 1st or 2nd for a player and get bent over. I wonder if the Ravens knew he was going to leave football before they traded him.
