No I mean at first I was excited… I wanted him in the offseason so I was excited. Then I reflected on it and thought well there’s a reason he’s available for a low price and there’s a reason he hardly has played for Baltimore. But I was hopeful we could get something out of him.

I think that’s where my frustration is yeah… that if we’d have known we could have made other moves etc. Instead we gave up a late round pick AND are going to have to go with the players we had before who aren’t good enough.

I guess maybe a big indicator that he’s mentally not in a good place? To have been so up last week and now to this?

I’m think these older player join the eagles hoping they’ll get an easy ride and realise it’s hard work being successful.

Maybe Howie will stop doing these trades

The fact its happened twice and both times with ageing / injured players - I think the first one is more likely than the second. The team has established a winning culture, and it is likely they hold each other accountable and to a high standard.

No doubt he is demanding, and he is not giving these vets easy favours till they prove it on the field for this team. Will rub some established stars (or who see themselves as such) the wrong way, whilst other vets who take to him can flourish e.g. Baun.
