November 24Nov 24 Might not be a bad idea to bring in Nick Foles as a position coach, with a few years of experience make him the Head coach and playcaller....
November 25Nov 25 Right now no. Short week. That said if Eagles totally collapse like in 2023 (which is a possibility) it is a sure thing the OC will change next year. I still wonder how Eagles could select an inexperienced guy when you try to défend your title. 2023 lesson was not totally learned apparently

I've asked before on here, didn't get an answer. Which OC that was still available would have been a clear cut choice? And no, I am not defending the decision/choice, Patullo sucks. I just keep wondering maybe they handed him the keys because literally there was no one left? The one person that keeps sticking in my head was Frank Reich.....had a ton of NFL experience. Won a Super Bowl with the Eagles. Was available.

They didn’t need to settle for a guy with no experience

We’ll just see it happen on game day with a new play caller

I guess Sirianni would have the play book / card so that would be the big give away but yeah I think they would want to spare KP the announcement. I also don’t think they’ll do it because it’s a friend of Sirianni and also it would be a reflection on a bad decision by Sirianni in the first place.

November 26Nov 26 Howie is thinking about it - for after the Eagles season is over. No way do they disrupt team chemistry at this point by bringing in somebody from outside the organization. The team is still 8-3 and has beaten a bunch of powerhouses. No, they're not as good as many thought right now, but they're not as bad as some think either.FWIW, a saw a youtube on my TV of Cris Collinsworth who speculated that the team is keep a lot of the playbook under wraps right now and will break out new wrinkles for the playoffs.

Plus winning it all means you are the last team standing and therefore picking from a depleted pool of candidates where all the best have already been snapped up. But I do think there were still others we likely could have hired that would have been much better options.
November 26Nov 26 IMO, obviously in hindsight, they should/could have had a plan in place for a new OC, knowing that they might get to the SB. Meaning, if they got to a SB, then it was most likely that Moore was leaving for a HC job. As it happened just two years ago!So plan for that move? And by planning for it, I don't mean 'promoting from within' to a Coach that was the Passing Game Coordinator, as we really had a blah passing game in the past with KP. This is the Passing Game we are seeing and getting from this Coach, without having a dominate Run Game. It's kinda crappy. Oh well.
