Posted November 12Nov 12 Listening to the Nick Sirianni press conference today I wanted to shout out loud and it wasn't about Nick. The media is so negative you'd never know this is a 7-2 team. They barely asked about the terific defensive performance while the offense and AJ Brown's production was an overriding theme. Sure it's a half full glass, but the overwhelming megativity of the questions and comments by the media is just terrible.
November 12Nov 12 AJ is the hot topic. That is what is going to get conversation going and trigger people with strong opinions.

So now it's a never ending clickbait sensationalism show? Sigh.

The questions they ask these days is mostly geared to trigger the person they are interviewing. How many times does AJ have to tell them WHY he is frustrated?!?! It's too bad the players are required to deal with these morons.

Love letters don’t sell newspapers
November 13Nov 13 The media in all forms these days are just flat out terrible, if not flat out liars, narrative mongers and clickbait artists. I feel like a grumpy old man when I say this, but, social media in particular is one of the worst things that has happened to society as a whole. As for Philly sports media, of course they're going to focus on the "juicy" stuff. That said, there are legit questions about Brown and his involvement in the offense and lackthereof.
November 13Nov 13 This 7-2 Eagles team is 29th in 1st downs (81), just ahead of Steelers(80), Browns(78), and Jets(77). It's just painful to watch most times.

I appreciate 7-2 but don't like the play calling. Maybe if the media had a 60-40% focus on the bad vs the good, I could stomach them, but their 90-10 philosophy just doesn't work for me.
November 14Nov 14 LOL that’s one positive of being an out of town fan, WIP and Philly media in general has been like that since I’ve joined these boards in 2005. I don’t think I’ve ever really heard Howard Eskins voice or seen his face outside these boards. The laugh I let out when I saw some clown bashing the eagles on fb with the name none other than spike….Hahaha the cycle continues, and now the man that fist fought TO in the Locker room is in on it. ♻️
November 14Nov 14 It’s what happens when you have a guy like AJ on your team. It’s nothing new. The media is always looking for a story of locker room turmoil and most players have the emotional intelligence to know that. Once in a while you get an AJ who gladly gives the media everything they want even if it distracts his team and teammates. The coach is frustrated with the questions but you can’t complain about the media being negative when one of your own team captains is acting like they are the 2008 Lions.
November 14Nov 14 Well, I mean, the media are not fans. Nor are they going to act like fans. They go where the clicks are or where the juicy tidbits are. All media does this.
November 14Nov 14 Author It's not just the AJ issue, it's the total negativity. The glass is never half full. I guess Mike Schmidt was right when he said - "THE THRILL OF VICTORY AND THE AGONY OF READING ABOUT IT THE NEXT DAY"

22 hours ago22 hr Maybe the Eagles should just flat out tank a season so they can get a cream puff schedule and dominate some bums and some of the ungrateful people who are having such a hard time watching victories get a taste of what it used to be like being a Eagles fan again. Just to show how bad the NFL wanted to screw the Eagles remember they’re the only SB winning team that ever had to play the following season with no consecutive home games.
