I think the problem we have is that the issues are so wide ranging. Hurts can be inconsistent. The OL is banged up and I mean showing no signs they can get healthy and stay healthy. Saquon still is good but he’s not special. AJ looks like he’s on the decline and I think he’s quitting on the team. The play calling isn’t good and the scheme is just unimaginative and not good. There’s so many factors to fix I’m not sure they can or will.

Comparison of what people act like is pure qb play vs playcalling and clearly the elements. It doesn’t have to be his one of his better games..this game wasn’t even about him to worry about that. But yet people in here crying like the wind want effecting passes, wrs weren’t dropping passes, or being interfered with or not completing routes…just oh Hurts this Hurst that. crap is bull axx sht. He had his few misses for whatever reason so the ef what? If the other qb is supposedly mvp pocket passer Johnny white of the most high flying offense in history and looks worse…then get off your qbs DK.(not you personally)

The people that hate Hurts no matter what aren't even worth arguing with is all I'm saying. I just want the offense to be better as a whole. I'm going to enjoy this win . I have no other choice but hope the offense can get better. We know Hurts can play great on the big stage. That helps.

Another W and another week of wondering wth is wrong with the offense. They are just hard to watch anymore. As many others in here have said, it's not just one thing, it is a myriad of things. But ultimately I think we can trace it back to Sirianni and the offensive design.

I wish I could find the exact quotes, but I recall Sirianni saying things like keep improving on what you do best (when asked about changing offensive design) and other things that basically alluded to the philosophy of just beating your man. In other words, he seems to have always had this philosophy of just keeping things real simple and just focus on being better than the guy across from you and winning your matchup.

This philosophy has obviously worked, but it's because the offense has had the personnel to do it. When that personnel starts to decline or injuries happen, etc, his non-scheme scheme shows up like a festering puss ball on the forehead.

Many offensive coaches like to be the smartest guy in the league by showing their complex schemes and play packages, etc. Sirianni is the exact opposite of that in his approach.

Just a reminder about Hutchinson's comments before the game:

"(They're) a really good football team. This is going to be (an important game). I mean, we've had this one on our calendar. We've been looking at this one on our calendar for a long time. So, (the) coaches are going to have us ready. We're going to be ready for this game and we really see this as a must-win."

Teams are simply giving their best effort against the Eagles and preparing for this matchup ahead of the schedule.

"Super talented. Super mobile. There's so many good players around him, too. Really that whole offense is a lot of talent. Jalen (Hurts), when we played him in 2022, (it was) really tough getting him, keeping him in the pocket. Really good at scrambling, great mobility, can make all the throws. We're going to have our hands full, but I think we got a good game plan in place."

Obviously the wind let up a bit as the game went on, but it did play a role that allowed both defenses to cheat closer to the LOS the entire game. The longer the pass, the less accurate it was as the QBs were trying to put a little more on them so the wind wouldn't push them as much, leading to some overthrows. If you wanted a "pretty offensive performance" between two of the best teams, you were destined for disappointment. It had ugly win written all over it before the opening kickoff.

There’s little doubt in my mind that they came in with more to prove and with more "focus”. This was their chance to 1) get one over the SB champions in their own stadium and 2) show that last year they were the nfc best team but injuries derailed them. They also knew a loss puts a huge dent in their #1 seed chances whereas a win would have been a huge boost.

I'm worried that sirianni doesn't think he needs to really work hard on the offense because the team knows how to win.

Man the offense is putrid, hard to watch and hard to understand how is it even possible to suck that much.

On the other hand, defensive clinic on back to back, insane performance.

I see that Siri is still an airhead in the 4th quarter. He's a clock management doofus.

Good win.

Offense still stinks.

8-2. EAGLES

Good news is we play the cowgirls next week. Look out for the offensive explosion coming up. D

We're 8-2 having played most of the other NFC contenders.

Our offense is what it is, the scheme is old, uncreative and Tonight wasn't well executed in any part, I saw the QB miss throws he should make, I saw receivers put the ball down when they shouldn't and I watched the OLine play below it's level of last year again, Tonight we couldn't even execute the QB sneak. It's sloppy all over the field, even Barkley is like a heat seeking missile aimed at the pile rather than space 75% of the time.

The offensive issues aren't just Patullo or Hurts, Today was basic execution and there needs to be accountability across the board.

All that said we held the best offense in the league pretty comfortably, as long as they can do that, they should be able to get enough on offense to get them home, we've already seen off the best the NFC has to offer and we're 8-2.

I think our OL is a big issue. It's just not what it was last year. That, in combination with Patullo, is the biggest problem.

But I'm not sure whether Brown is or isn't the player he once was. The jury is still out on that.

I do feel sorry for Patullo, in that everyone (including I suspect him) thought he just had to run it back with a couple of wrinkles and watch the plaudits come in along with a HC job offer at seasons end, instead we're ten games in, we're 8 and 2 but Barkley has dropped a yard plus per carry, the passing game is on its ass and last night the Tush Push stopped working too.

This was a huge win even if we only scored 16 points. This team is the best team in the NFC.

The Wind was a big factor for both teams. Missing Lane Johnson and Cam Jurgens pretty much explains the tush push failures. The O line has clearly regressed from last season. The Eagles still overcame all of that to win.

Two things can be true.

1. The Offense sucks

+1. They are 8-2

= Winning isn't everything.
It's the ONLY thing.

Reports say that people are not happy with Jalen Hurts. In other words they have identified him as a main problem with the offense woes. From what I seen that sounds about right. The run game may sucked but the pass blocking has been pretty decent and for the most part kept the Lions D-line in check.. Yet somehow we still can't throw on backup CB's.

OC is a bum.

There are reports that the earth is flat. Believe what you want.

Still would love to see more of WShip and Tank. We have a good RB room.

Everybody take a deep breath. Last week was the frozen tundra in Green Bay. This week they had the wind and the wet snowflakes. Goff was having issues completing passes in the weather too. The Eagles went 2-0. They won two very important games for playoff seeding.

They have time to get the offense clicking before the postseason. They are hungry.

25th in Total Offense for this team is coaching malpractice.

The media is horrendous, you can always find an anonymous source to say something bad about anyone

The weather was a big issue the last 2 games for all teams, Hurts had a perfect passer rating and another almost one against the giants, people seem to have a memory problem. If the Offense is not better in Dallas then be concerned but his people in hte organization crap saying it is like wentz 2.0 is just a joke, it is no way anyone important

The same white people that wanted to "Carson Wentz " Jalen Hurts back when it was Sirianni vs Hurts and were still allowed access to the building? PHUKK those people and all the secret reports from anonymous sources. Daniel Jones conveniently met his way to Shane Steichen but there are other places Hurts can go if that "group” is serious about getting his BLACK face off the team. Everytime the sirianni family comes under scrutiny there’s always some anonymous reports about Hurts. So stop fakin and get rid of him and watch the organization crumble. And it will…he is NOT a Wentz type of character. And being a backup cb doesn’t mean you can’t out physical wrs on this team…even Hatin axx "Orlosky” knows that. There were enough drops and manhandling going on. Plus when it comes to route running..on the pi everybody is up in arms about…why is AJ turning into the db looking for the ball instead of turning away from the the db towards the sideline in the direction the ball is thrown to…which direction is one of ”separation” and which one was not?
