Then we get to watch all the Trumpers do another 180 and explain how it’s actually great that the people of Venezuela get to continue to live under an authoritarian ruler that they didn’t elect and why we shouldn’t be involved in trying to change the regime there.

This entire event is a transactional event. Trump doesn’t give a flying F about the people in Venezuela and there is no fentanyl coming into the US from the country.

I don't see how regime changes without US troops on the ground. I have a bad feeling Trump has made a deal with the vice president for that oil. So we will still have a communist regime that hates America with all of Maduro's people still in place, but Trump will get his oil deal. Hope I'm wrong.
