Not crazy about the idea of adding Pederson. He really didn't prove to be some offensive genius.

My hope is for some team to clean house with their current coaching staff and we grab that OC who is proven (in much the same way we added Moore).

With this roster you don't have to be that creative, just competent. Plus Siri is obsessed with being too conservative...until he gets aggressive like going for it on 4th and 6th. He needs an OC who manages game situations with the right play calls and pushes back on Siri. The plays are in the playbook.

That was after Gannon's 2nd season, yet he also had interviews after his 1st. As for rankings, it depends on the stat you are ranking. We are 25th in total yards, but 13th in net yards gained per pass attempt. We are 1st in (fewest) turnovers lost. Hurts is having his best passing season. We've added a shovel pass. We have run a lot more plays under center than ever before with Hurts.

There have been some KP decisions / calls that warranted the criticism they received, but overall, a lot of the issues on offense have just come down to execution by the players on the field. When it comes to execution, I don't really believe that goes on the assistant coaches, but on the HC who decides how much preparation the team gets and what parts of the game the team dedicates more time to in practice.

As much as I want to say "good riddance" it is also frustrating if it happens because this will be yet another offensive coordinator change. Aren't we on coordinator #6 since Hurts has been here? It's a miracle this team has been able to keep winning and getting into the playoffs with so many OC changes.

I’m greedy … I want both. I watch these other teams running their offenses and am just amazed by the creativity in play design helping to get their playmakers open. We don’t see any of that.

It's really not that hard to understand how things work. Andy Reid was a young nobody that was hired as a HC for the first time by the Eagles because he had a history of being a young mind on a winning team's coaching staff. After developing a reputation for turning Philadelphia into a perennial contender, many coaches from his staff saw similar paths to HC jobs. Now, under Sirianni, the Eagles saw a culture change and a shift away from the WCO offensive philosophy to a team-strength philosophy. Sirianni's record is impressive and teams have been poaching his staff, hoping to duplicate his success. KP is the latest candidate that will benefit from the team's success. So, yeah ... it's likely he'll get interviews. Whether or not he gets a HC job will probably depend on how well the Eagles finish the season. But as of today, he's a better HC candidate than the 2022 NFL coach of the year for any team whose goal is to win games.

Nick Sirianni, I will give him some credit here, because he is pumping out HC candidates at a high rate. I mean the way he must prep his guys in these interviews must be outstanding work. Moore has been bouncing around the league for a while, but he doesn’t get the HC call until he comes here. We have been complaining about this offense since Nick got here and since he’s been here even his former fired coach still has an NFL job and two of his OCs are now HCs.

I want creativity too. What I mean is there are already creative plays in the playbook, things they'v used before. We just need the OC to actually prep and call them.

They actually have run some creative plays even this year, they're just shy about it and shrink back to conservative.

Many outsiders saying the exact same. There is zero creativity to this offense … and it is insane that people want to point the finger at Jalen as the primary culprit. You people are nuts.

To be fair, we haven't ran much motion in the past. But we have gone away with what has worked in the past. Gotta get the WRs the ball in stride and let them get yac. That is mostly scheme and a few highlighted plays Hurts simply didn't see or didn't stay in the pocket either due to pressure or he thought running was the best choice.

I'm sure this rumor was put out there by the Eagles FO to drive interest out there from teams hoping one will bite this offseason. It's the best situation to not upset Nick if they need to remove KP. I don't see KP being the OC next year in any situation, but at the same time they won't pull the same as the 2023 season and remove his duties mid season.

Anybody that wants him can have him.

Everytime they run motion they get a penalty. It’s like they aren’t allowed to be creative even when they want to be.
