Hurts can't operate this offense. Its that simple.. They went up against the worst Defense in the NFL and got shut out a entire half.

Correct. Even last year, many games with an inept second half offense. If the first plays game script is good, he looks good. After that, he gets scared.

14 penalties is a TEAM stat that’s going on coaches not preparing and keeping our players in pocket.

Having a return man field the ball within the 5 is a coaching issue. Wether it’s teaching him or letting someone be one the team at all who’s willing to even do something so dumb (the reason he was cut in NYJ)

Having a 21-0 lead and blowing it with bad situational decisions is a coaching issue.

Sure players get blame, they’re also put into these positions by incompetent leaders and schemers.

Sirianni always should get some blame. I don’t think they actually practice. Just sit around the fire roasting marshmallows.

What offense? Lmao. The mirrored curls and outs, with the decoy streak? Or the 3 running plays out of 2 formations? lol.

This OC is AWFUL. If we can call the plays out on our couch, what do you think the millionaire players and strategists are doing? The only explosives we have are when Jalen chucks it off script because the OC can’t scheme anything open beyond 7 yards and outside of a TE 6 yard curl - nothing over the middle.

No Play action roll outs, no misdirections, no double moves, no creativity at all.

Probably cause Hurts doesn't like those things. Way too much for him to process. Looks like those rumblings behind the scenes are probably true.

It’s bad enough that he took it out but then he fumbles. Like wtf are you doing?

Yeah, why are you catching the ball at the 3. That’s a touchback every time unless it takes some crazy bounce.

I blame Zach Baun for this loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Without his dropped easy INT, Eagles win this game and put the sorry arse Cowboys away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His sorry arse needs to be benched next game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don’t know anything. Go to bed.

Lately? He’s been doing it since he took over as coach. But he has a winning record and two super bowls so his incompetence gets a pass.

Maybe I should’ve said bad even by his standards

Nick has been making some bad decisions lately

This, going for it multiple times to give the opponent an easy chance to score, not running the clock out/stealing timeouts and passing instead. Ignoring th rush push on 3rd and 2 or less, Hiring KP. Keeping KP past the bye. Playing Gipson. Etc etc.

I hate him. The Super Bowl didn’t change my mind. Like you go for it two weeks in a row on 4th but this week you decide to kick a long fg rather than go for it. Makes no damn sense.

Just a bizarre last play where #35 Carter turns and runs across the field right at Mitchell and takes him out so the receiver is wide open.

Never seen that before and not sure how it could happen

I’d take Reid over Sirianni. May not have won a Super Bowl but he was always more creative.

What about the choke jobs in the NFCCGs against Buccaneers, Panthers, and Cardinals and losing games against QBs like John Skelton and Joe Webb? They needed help from Jarmarcus Russell, one of the worst QBs in NFL history, and the Raiders to get Eagles to Playoffs in 2008 because he blew the game the week before 10-3. Reid needed Mahomes to hide his flaws and win Super Bowls.

Yup… I was shouting why did you catch that? Then he fumbles. Made two big mistakes. Safe to say we don’t see him again.

Lurie needs to start holding Siri responsible since Siri is obviously not able to to do it with his coaching staff and players. What a cluster F of a game. This just set us back as a team this season. Killed momentum and gave Dallas life.

You don’t go out to beat Dallas, you go out to stomp their ass.

It doesn't matter how/what you teach, the players have their own brains and make their own choices. Players let us down this game. Not coaching. Its different if its every game. This was super uncharacteristic for us.

I would love see what Hurts wonderlic score is. Less than a 10 like Morris Claiborne? He is one dumb F.

That 3rd and 2 play call on our last possession was pathetic. Hurts looked like he was looking for a chunk play - just get a 1st down. They don’t have a simple play for 2 yards.

Reid had his flaws. But he usually put together a good game plan on offense and had solid defenses.

Nope it’s all or nothing

Honestly,

I can almost guarantee that he leans on analytics 99% of the time. He has no feel for the game and lacks basic common sense

Siri can pack his bags and take KP with him. It’s the only way to rid this team of KP, because Siri ain’t going to do it.

It’s scripted

Start McKee next week, just to see what happens.

Yea. I went there. 😄

It happened when Vegas needed it most.

The oline hasn't been this bad in over a decade. Stoutland University is more like Montgomery County community college these days. That squad is an fin joke.

I agree a lot of it was uncharacteristic, but would a second season of KP excite you?

11 minutes ago, Swimm said:

That won't change anything. The offense is systemic and limited by the personnel. We had 3 different coordinators and they all ran a very similar offense.

Personnel upgrades are needed (especially the O-line) but play calling affects everything including morale.
