November 21, 2025Nov 21 Stoutland rebuilt Becton and revitalized his career........Becton loved it here and responded well to Stoutland's tough love. I really wanted to see the eagles re-sign him but Howie was in a tough spot with all the free agents they had. I think it would be a great idea to bring him back.....
November 21, 2025Nov 21 Becton upped his game to get a contract somewhere, he got the contract with the Chargers and promptly went back to being the bust he was every other year he wasn't here bar his rookie year. He's an awful right tackle and not much of a guard other than one year last year.No thanks, you can't bottle lightning twice.

Jurgens has been terrible this year. Dickerson is playing poorly and is having a really difficult time staying healthy. Lane isn’t going to be here. Steen rivals Mailata as the best, most consistent OL on the team and few even like him enough to give him credit. He’s also a RG who is reliable in pass pro and struggles to blow open holes. Behind all of that, Fred Johnson is a really nice depth OT…and the rest of them kind of suck.In summary, moving forward, this OL needs multiple starters and multiple backups.Becton is an absurdly dominant run blocker who (and we saw this last year too) has breakdowns in pass pro. I assume he transitioned to a passing offense that doesn’t run as much, isn’t sandwiched between 2 pro-bowl players, and is really struggling dropping back in pass pro all the time.If he is available again on a cheap 1 year prove it deal, they should run, not walk, to re-sign him. This OL needs all the help it can get.

November 24, 2025Nov 24 frankly I surprised that Howie has not drafted Lane's heir apparent in the last couple of drafts.
November 24, 2025Nov 24 With the contract he signed i would be very suprise if Chargers cut him but we never know
November 26, 2025Nov 26 We need him now!! LOL. But that's not happening. So, if possible, yeah, I'd think about bringing him back next season, if the contract works out.Lord knows this O Line is arse this year for our team, so, it's intriguing to me to see what happens to it for next season.
November 26, 2025Nov 26 I wouldn't pay him that contract he wanted since he didn't flourish with another team but I'd definitely bring him back cheap
November 27, 2025Nov 27 1 year deal to rebuild his value sure. Our run game misses the physicality he brought to the table.Steen is a fine player but what Becton brought fits this offense better,
December 23, 2025Dec 23 It makes a lot of sense to bring him back. RG, maybe even as RT as LJ replacement.

He was easily best at RG.
December 30, 2025Dec 30 I vote YAY. our line was way better last year and he was a big part of the reason why.
