Season Over. Bad team. One more win left at most

Bad coaches, players that don’t care. It’s a repeat of 2023 at best. May not even make the playoffs honestly.

It’s time to blow it all up. The coaching staff is atrocious. Horrible, clueless OC. Head coach who acts like a child but makes stupid decisions. Special teams is a joke. DC is good until it’s a critical time in the game then gives up big plays by playing soft.

Embarrassing team. Embarrassing franchise. Another wasted year. Such a joke of a team. They will beat the Raiders if they’re lucky but not a single other game on the schedule.

LMAO. Go find a new team buddy. This is ridiculous. Birds will lock the 1 seed book it

CeeDee had a lot of drops in the 2 games against the Eagles, if he didn't summon his inner Nelson Agholor, Cowboys would have swept the Eagles.

Today's game would've been 35-21 Cowboys if Ceedee didn't drop those passes. Defense had a bad day, with a bit of injuries but F***** Patullo and Sirianni these 2 donkeys shouldn't be anywhere near an NFL team or college team, running their high school offense bullsh****, I want knock both of these idiots out...

I mean, we should have won that game. But this is a crazy response. It was a road game against a bitter divisional rival, we don't exactly have a good record in Dallas the last few years. Not happy with the loss, but not shocked either. We have a really tough schedule - 11 of 17 games against teams that were in the playoffs last year. We're 8-3. We're still a long way clear in the division. The offensive line is held together by chewing gum and sticky tape. We're already beaten some of the very best the NFC has to offer. We're doing fine. Sure, it's been sloppy at times but it's not like we're the Titans or the Jets.

Rather have Dabol

But we have the talent and experience to be a lot better than we are. And the expectations for this team are much higher than the Jets and titans. We have a chance to go back to the SB. We have the talent and we have the record to put us in a good position… But we are so sloppy and ill disciplined that we are probably going to squander it.

Not disputing that, but it's hard to win in the NFL. Our offensive line has been banged up all year and that's the number one reason for the offensive struggles

It’s even harder when your offense is this damn bad. This offense for multiple reasons stinks. It’s been bad all year and it’s showing no signs of getting any better. This end to the season is not going to be pretty.

They will lose in the 2nd round

I think you might be right. I mean honestly if we go 4-2 the rest of the way now they’ll have done well and I’ll be surprised. That’s perhaps knee jerk but those are some tough tricky games.

Honestly some ridiculous overreactions in this thread, the big failing in last nights game was the switch to run first after the half, Saquon had gone nowhere all game and we'd been moving the ball through the air and all of a sudden we're running it. You can only chew clock with the run game if you keep the chains moving and we weren't, add in the dumb penalties and we're in a hole and at some point the penny should've dropped and we stopped digging, and we sort of did but then we decided to fumble the game away and take the dumbest sack I've seen all year.

That said I do think Patullo may well be told to take a step back at this point, I think the Patricia debacle has given the organisation the heebie jeebies about switching coordinators mid season, but I'd be surprised if Patullo makes it after last night because he had the offense working and changed it and the wheels fell off.

The Tush push on the third TD was a dumb play, it looked rough, Dickerson got folded up and Jurgens hasn't been up to it all season. The pass protection developed major holes after it.

Jurgens needed to sit before this game, he definitely needs it now, he's just not blocking well and Toth looked better after first team reps, Fred is holding down right tackle for when Lane inevitably is out longer than 4 weeks, they need to stop rushing guys back because they were the best O Line of 2024, because at this point it's clear this ain't the 2024 model offensive line, not by a damn sight.

All that said, I still think if they take the training wheels off and just let the offense play winning football rather than not turning it over safety ball, there's more than enough in the team to get to the NFC Championship game minimum. I look around the NFC and I don't see any teams that I believe are much if any better than us, even the Rams aren't that impressive, The Bills, Chiefs and Ravens are all huffing and puffing in the AFC, I don't think the Patriots are that good so much as the AFC is on a down year.

I’m not sure after seeing 11 games that most of the takes are ridiculous though? There’s a big sample size of this offense being a steaming pile of turd.

If you don't think suggesting blowing the whole team up and sacking all the coaching staff a year out from winning the Superbowl and sat at 8-3 is ridiculous that's on you chief not me.

Absolutely ridiculous, over the top negativity. This post is what's embarrassing. Lots of problems tonight, but it's not an "embarrassing franchise" they just won a SB, went to one 2 years. Won 2 SBs within 8 years after not winning for 60+ years. Go outside and smoke grass.

FYP

Completely agree with this post. Let's see how they respond. Short week. Obviously nothing guaranteed but if they can knock out a W against an up-and-coming Bears team, that'll be a big help to put this in the rearview mirror.

They hired someone to be OC who had zero qualifications to be that and has never called plays before. For a SB champion. Just because he was buddies with the HC. Embarrassing to waste this talent and this roster on that crap.

They can’t score. Lead the league in three and outs. They aren’t beating anyone who plays well.

They can’t score. One of the worst offenses in the league. And they’re currently in the 2 slot with multiple more losses coming since they can’t score. You’re an idiot.

These boards are always tough after a L ... especially when it comes against Dallass. facepalm

Here's your previous prediction:

and let's not forget how many times you repeated the "season was over" during the divisional playoff game vs the rams last season. roll

The OP in this thread is way over the top. That said, this loss is due to the same issues we have been seeing all year while winning. Man, for the first quarter and a half, I was like "this team is BACK!". Then for the rest of the game I was like "oh, THIS team is back"<_<

This team is not a "blow it up" situation by a long shot. But, the prospects of repeating are just about dead. This offense just can't get it together...and most of the reason is the OL. And I don't see how it will get any better...whether it's a health thing or whatever is going on, I just don't see the OL suddenly "turning it on" and playing any better. One step, as others pointed out, might be to sit Jurgens for a few weeks and see how we do with Toth. But, they won't do that.

The Rams are starting to look like the best team in the NFC and if we play them in the playoffs, we are gonna get smoked.

Anything is possible but do you see the eagles winning out and rams dropping at least one? Stafford is on fire.

That’s a bit much. This season falls squarely on the offensive line, Hurts inconsistency as a passer, and Patullo’s inexperience at scheming and playcalling. The defense had all of the question marks coming into the season, but the difference a good DC makes is evident. The defense did its job, but got gassed and banged up with all of the stalled drives by the offense that kept Dallas hanging around. Sirianni shoulders some of the blame for what appears to be a bad hire at OC as well as locker room cohesion issues.

Howie has a lot of work to do this offseason to get youth and talent on the offensive line and get sirianni out of the coordinator hiring business.

problem is that when we do get a good OC, they are gone after a year as other teams love to raid the nest. And then the other years we get the Brian Johnson/Kevin Patullos of the world

One and done in the playoffs. They are what they are at this point in the season. This can't be fixed this season.

I don't mind losing, but dayyuumm, don't lose to Dallas like that!!
