I mean he has one of the best winning percentages in NFL history, has been to two Super Bowls, won one, has never had a losing season, and has been in the playoffs every year. I mean I get being frustrated, and I understand people wanting change, but that kind of production isn’t common in the NFL. I don’t know if a new coach or a new quarterback would make this team that much better unless they can get an established coach, with an established pedigree who is capable of calling plays. And I agree and it’s why I’m sure I’m in the minority. I just think over the next year or two they are going to have to invest more in to the defense and therefore get more out of an offense with less talent. And the reality is Sirianni as HC has gotten less out of the offense than the talent aavailable to him.

This is the 2nd time in 3 years we watched Nick do less with more. Howie wasn't perfect but he gave him a top 3 roster in the league and for the 2nd time in 3 years he got bounced in the first round because he picked someone absolutely inept as OC.It doesn't get more wide open than this year and he blew a top 3 roster. He did that. Nobody else to blame because KP was his guy and he didn't make any adjustments. When the HC singlehandedly does something that egregious he needs to go.Maybe you’re right, but I can’t see him losing his job based off one season where the team struggled all year especially when they went into the season with so many issues on the offensive line.

The motivational coach does have a shelf life. When the team stops listening to that coach it’s over for them. He’s kind of like a reverse Tom Coughlin. That guy was more of the hard nosed high discipline type and he also had a lot of success, but his constant negative energy eventually ran its course with the team and they stopped supporting him.
January 12Jan 12 Here's an answer that might keep everyone happy. Move Patullo into Howie's sphere. He does know football and he could work in the scouting and roster management team. Result - Nick, who is his best friend and who has plenty of equity with this team insn't completely cut off at the knees as an outright firing would be. Howie gains another idea in the roomPatullo, well, he's not unemployedLurie - get to have an offensive coordinator who fits his moldHurts - Don't give me the "another oc change story", he needs a change from this year
January 12Jan 12 Well, hopefully this thread can be closed today. Please get this bum as far away from the Novacare ASAP
January 12Jan 12 "ESPN’s Adam Schefter went on Get Up on Monday morning to discuss the expectations for the Eagles from across the league. With the loss still fresh, the update doesn’t sound so positive for Patullo."When you speak to people around the league, they expect there to be mass changes there to jump-start the offense," Schefter said. "So, you're looking at a new offensive coordinator next year, that's the expectation there across the league."https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/eagles-kevin-patullo-situation-gets-160805560.htmlSo it looks like KP is not long for this team and some changes will be made to this offense.

Complete Captain Obvious statement there by Schefty.
January 12Jan 12 They are going through the after season exit process. So no firings yet. He will be dismissed in the next couple of days. Gives the Eagles a good chance of hiring/interviewing the Offensive Coaches that are available.
January 12Jan 12 Is he fired yet?Give me... Reich, Daboll, McDaniels or Pedersen in that order. They better bring in someone with experience. After thinking about it, Pederson might be best. Don't think he wants to be a head coach again.
January 12Jan 12 The NFL insiders and reporters are jack holes who have very little information. For the most part, they speculate just like us fans do. They get most of their information from Agents, who put out any NFL news that they can. 🙃🙃

Maybe a c-hair but not much more.

And that’s super obvious because I mean look what he’s achieved. But I think we needed to change the culture and I think he’s really done that. But I really do think his time should be up and that he’s had his time.
January 12Jan 12 Don't expect KP fired right away. Recent Eagles coach firing timelines:Defensive Coordinator Sean Desai. Last game Mon Jan 15th. Fired Sun Jan 21st. 6 days.Offensive Coordinator Brian Johnson. Last game Mon Jan 15th. Fired Tues Jan 23rd. 8 days.Offensive Coordinator Mike Groh. Last game Sun Jan 5th. Fired Thursday Jan 9th. 4 days.Head Coach Doug Pederson. Last game Sun Jan 3rd. Fired Monday Jan 11th. 8 days.Offensive Coordinator Kevin Patullo. Last game Sun Jan 11th. Fired...?

Maybe a buddy network, maybe something else. Players don't enjoy such treatment though. Their performance is out there for all to see. You can do or don't, nowhere to hide.

I never liked the hire, and I was read for him to be gone after 23, but here we are. This all will always be a problem as long as he can’t call plays or design an effective offense.

I think guys with that kind of history here will completely undermine this head coach.
