Oh I agree I mean Im not ready to say Jalen isn’t the guy (I’m keeping balanced on that and I’m not sure either way) but Sirianni is definitely a bit part of the problem.

So if we are blaming Nick and Jalen for all the failures, are we also giving them acknowledgment for the success as well or are you just a hypocrite? I mean two of these coordinators got fired and two got head coaching jobs. I don’t think it’s a coincidence the two fired guys were the least experienced guys. But yeah, maybe we can trade for Herbert too! Then y’all can fawn over stats, and get bounced every year in the first round too. Don’t worry about getting a new head coach, because that guy is a coach killer.

Last year this team was carried by the Defense. and the run game cause Moore couldn't insert his schemes cause of Hurts. This year the defense was worse and we had no running game. Meaning Hurts actually had to consistently go out and be a real QB. He couldn't do it inspite of all the weapons around him.

The teams in the playoffs right now are statistically better offensively. Fawn over that while the Eagles sit at home cause they suck offensively. Exactly what the stats show.

Hurts had a chance to win the game and he blew it with 4 straight bad decisions he made on his own against an awful defense.

Im glad KP is gone. Get a competent OC that will stay for at least 2-3 seasons please.

History has shown Hurts with 2 competent OCs has gone to the SB and offense wasn't an issue. We need someone with experience, someone that can make in game or at the very least half time adjustments.

Whatever happens I hope Lurie and Howie make the changes needed to get the full answers about how to solve the passing game consistency and get a good offense. Year 6 coming up with Hurts and that question seems to still be unanswered? Ridiculous.

Personally I think he is very good but an unfinished product that has stunted growth from Sirianni's philosophy. Get a good OC and coach Hurts up or out. If they can't do that with Sirianni rip the bandaid now and Fing fix it.

If they bring in another OC and it just looks the Fing same again it won't be a fun product worth watching (or at least playing NFL Ticket for since I no longer live in Philly).

Under center looked good this season. Couple games using it heavy and PA was very encouraging. Then poof. Gone.

Heavy empty look with passing and Hurts design runs. Looked good for a half. Then poof. Gone.

They coudn't find an identity because they literally refused to change it from hitches/verts and inside zone as base. Despite everyone else in the known world seeing they had other stuff to change base to.

They aren't continuing to grow and challenge him and give him room and reps in games to build the next step in mastery.

The offense was an issue last year. Moore had to scrap his scheme cause the personnel couldn't run it. It was dumbed down to a simplified high school offense that leaned heavily on the run game, and ball control. Something they couldn't replicate this year. The passing game was ranked last ands that same ineptitude in the passing game his here this year as well.

Steichen offense is an outlier. Statistically Jalen Hurts best year. But he actually ran with the ball and it didn't look like he had cement in his shoes. New offense and RPO and a QB who had not been fully scouted. yet.

This offense also had issues. They sucked in the 2nd half of games.

You make some good points...

With Steichen, the offense wasn't fully scouted yet and Hurts was more at his peak as a run threat...plus the tush push. With Moore, the O was a disaster the first 4 weeks when trying to run his offense. And you're right, they basically "dumbed it down" and were rewarded with a superior run game that allowed for a competent passing game here and there. One of the main keys with both was leveraging Hurts as a runner consistently, which was not used anywhere near as much this year.

I hope they bring in an OC that will not only scheme to take advantage of Hurts' strengths (and do a better job of masking his weaknesses) but also challenge him. If Hurts is uncomfortable throwing between the hashes, then push him to do so until he either is comfortable doing it or plays his way out of the position (swim or sink). Add that element back into the game that has him posing a threat as a runner to keep defenses guessing and honest. To not use his legs more is a criminal misuse of talent. If Hurts is the one pushing to run less ... tough ish. Do it or we'll find someone who will. No more hand holding and coddling. Promoting from within is never going to lead to someone who is able to do all that.

Well. All the inside leaks point to Hurts. The most recent one from Lesean. But regardless Siri is still incompetent, and KP still needed to be fired.

Patullo isn’t exactly fired, though. The 2025 Eagles never did anything the easy way so why start now. Per reports, Patullo may be brought back as an assistant, just not as the OC. He and Nick Sirianni are close and Patullo has been part of two Super Bowl offenses.

How is LeSean an "inside" leak? I don't think he has any inside knowledge any more than McNabb or Emmanuel Acho or any of these other former players that just can't help running their mouths (Cam Newton, Richard Sherman, Shannon Sharpe, etc.).
