I'm not sure if that's totally Patullo's fault.I agree, but this offense is embarrassingly simplistic. Don’t know who is responsible for that. Is it the lack of ingenuity of the coaches? Is that refusal of Jalen to get out his comfort zone? It seems like we have made changes (use of a fullback, more TE play, less rpo, less WR screens, and more work under center) but we just see a lack of scheming guys open, slamming Barkley into the line, and a failure to take advantage of the opponents weaknesses. Why are they refusing to give Tank more carries?
January 12Jan 12 Some seasons the players let you down and others they just aren't good enough. This year two coaches blew a year of the window being idiots. Never should happen and Nick if he stays should never be able to pick his OC again. Don't like that? Leave. Don't want your best friend fired? Leave.

January 12Jan 12 We had like a 10 minute advantage in time of possession but somehow gained 68 less yards. I don't think I've ever seen a stat like that. It's inexplicable. The game was a microcosm of the season.

January 12Jan 12 I just don’t see how you bring him back. Clearly the offense once again needs a new direction. Every year the same thing, because Nick doesn’t call plays. They really need to hire someone who isn’t looking to become a head coach, because this constant change hurts them every time.

My post wasn't supposed to be taken seriously (they weren't going to fire him as soon as the game ended ... sheesh). But I am hopeful we hear sometime today (or tomorrow at the latest) that he has been let go so that they can get an early start at hiring a new OC.

They should be looking at a new HC too. Sirianni is not the answer because as an offensive coach he’s bad.
