They shouldn’t just be looking at a new OC. They should be looking at a new HC too. Sirianni is not the answer because as an offensive coach he’s bad.

Oh as a coach he's offensive alright! lol

They aren't firing Nick he will be given the chance to right the ship like he did last year.

No they aren’t but they should. This offense will continue to stutter and struggle (to some extent) whilst Sirianni is here.

This also works for watching a the KP offense. (Poor, traumatized baby)

The fact he hasn’t been. The fact they haven’t announced that obvious move right away? I mean to me that’s damming of those involved. There’s no investigation needed here he needs to go with immediate effect! And Sirianni needs to follow him out the door.

It’s too soon to announce anything. That’s not how the Eagles operate and you know this. I mean it’s Monday morning and the owner, GM, and coach haven’t had their sit down discussion yet. At most you will hear something along the lines of Sirianni saying he needs to evaluate the entire coaching staff. Don’t forget Pederson boasted his entire staff was coming back and then they got fired. Just give it some time.

This thread is going to blow TF up today!

And yeah we know that’s how we operate. But the longer they stall on the obvious and the longer they wait and analyse the more OC targets they potentially miss out on.

Well at least this season they have more time and options to evaluate. Some of these OC available options could be holding out hope for a potential HC job as well. I mean I don’t even think any of the current HC jobs have been hired yet. You’re stressing yourself out over something that isn’t even 24 hours old yet.

I wouldn’t say stressing myself out. I just find it laughable that someone who did such a bad job all year was just not removed immediately. And I know that isn’t how this team operates but still I mean it’s a no brainer decision. They should have told him to clear his locker straight after the game. Hell they should have fired him weeks ago.

Was the Patullo hiring like a Make-a-Wish thing or something? I don't get how this dude can be an NFL offensive coordinator.

I dont see how you fire Nick, and honestly I don't think it would make sense to. But KP has got to go. They also need to hire a qualified guy that plans to be here for at least 3 seasons. I know that's asking a lot in today's league because guys want to rush to become a HC.

Please, no Kinsgbury! Also, I've seen a lot of people wanting Nick gone for Harbaugh, and that's the most idiotic take I've seen 🤣

I just hope Lurie with his reflection process where he goes through 7 stages of analytics and praying and meditation or whatever the F he does doesn't take 4 weeks and we lose out on all the good OC candidates. To me there's no long winded process - does KP suck b&(&%?? Yes, he's possibly the worst OC in the history of the NFL. Fire him today. Next question.

Fired him during the season for who? That’s the thing it wouldn’t have changed anything to make that move during the season. That could have spiraled the team out of control. You remember how bad the defense fell off when they fired Desai during the season don’t you? They had to let the KP thing play itself out, but just cause they haven’t told you KP is getting fired yet doesn’t mean he’s staying.

Do you know what… you are right. And what I said before was contradictory to what I’ve been saying all day. Firing Patullo in season would have made sense to show accountability and to show that we wanted to fix things. But ultimately the problem would have still been there… because that problem and that issue is the HC.

They’re not getting rid of Nick. They will very likely hire a new OC. They also need to revamp this offensive line and probably trade AJ Brown. Money needs to move from the offense to the defense. The entire offense (from coaches to players) underperformed this season and some of them need to be held accountable and replaced.

Brown was definitely an issue today and I think karma caught up to him. You cant be loud for most of the season and then choke when you get your opportunities in the big moments. I could see him being traded but I hope he stays.

I think Nick stays too, but it'll be interesting to see if another DP scenario happens and he gets himself removed due to loyalty.

The head coach is flawed and we all know it just like the quarterback is flawed too, but neither of those guys are going anywhere, because they win. The Eagles were the only division winner from last year to win their division again. You’re going to need to see at least a season and a half of total collapse or a few seasons of not making the playoff to see those types of changes. Personally I don’t want change that much. 😂

I don’t think Nick is sacrificing his job for KP. KP will land on his feet. He will get another job, but not likely as an OC.

And look I don’t disagree with you. But with the amount of changes this offense is about to undergo over the next year or two? Things are going to nose dive by not making that change.

That’s why they will retool and not blow it all up. They will replace pieces like they always do. They might at some point take a step back, but they’re a young football team as well. I just hope Sirianni’s flower power hasn’t run out yet.

The organization tries to keep up appearances and might not fire Patullo until tomorrow, but it's academic at this point. Just get it over with. At least the fans get something to dull the pain.

They are going to need to get more out of less. And Sirianni with this offense has consistently gotten less out of more.

Isn’t that really hard to say considering his record though? I mean he has one of the best winning percentages in NFL history, has been to two Super Bowls, won one, has never had a losing season, and has been in the playoffs every year. I mean I get being frustrated, and I understand people wanting change, but that kind of production isn’t common in the NFL. I don’t know if a new coach or a new quarterback would make this team that much better unless they can get an established coach, with an established pedigree who is capable of calling plays.

He has the best GM and coordinators carried him last year.

What we saw yesterday was a coach without his best WR and TE do more with less. This is the 2nd time in 3 years we watched Nick do less with more. Howie wasn't perfect but he gave him a top 3 roster in the league and for the 2nd time in 3 years he got bounced in the first round because he picked someone absolutely inept as OC.

It doesn't get more wide open than this year and he blew a top 3 roster. He did that. Nobody else to blame because KP was his guy and he didn't make any adjustments. When the HC singlehandedly does something that egregious he needs to go.
