Posted November 24, 2025Nov 24 That is the only way to get better. Here is an article that echoes my thoughts about this:https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/kevin-patullo-offense-week-12-vs-cowboys/696905/What do YOU think?
November 24, 2025Nov 24 I think he never should have been hired in the first place. You don't hand that kind of position to someone who has never coordinated an offense before at any level on a team in prime position for winning a championship. My guess is they roll with him for the rest of the season. What a waste of a prime opportunity this year. But who knows ... they transferred defensive play calling from Desai to Patricia mid season so you never know.
November 24, 2025Nov 24 Would you hand the keys of a Ferrari to a 15 year old and say "now go learn how to drive a car”?
November 24, 2025Nov 24 I wanted them to hire someone outside of the organization. Did not want an internal hire

November 24, 2025Nov 24 I understand the why but they had to know this wasn't they right guy early on. At this point if you did let him go who would call the plays? Nick can't do it. We know Nick is just the face of the team. He doesn't make any choices. So you do you blame Howie and Lurie for this? Are they playing super safer on purpose?

November 24, 2025Nov 24 Nah, he did a great job calling plays yesterday. That's what Sirianni told me.
November 25, 2025Nov 25 Author I agree- he should never been hired in the 1st place. You get an EXPERIENCED OC, then you don't have to suffer through all the BS going on this year.
November 25, 2025Nov 25 I just don't know how or if changing the play caller would actually help this offense. I mean, it couldn't make it worse...but how much would it actually help? The play calling certainly dictates the "flow" of a game. Calling the right plays at the right times along with having good sequences of plays, etc. But, there's the overarching offensive philosophy of Sirianni that also plays a huge role in hindering this offense. Then there's play execution by the players. Not committing stupid penalties that wipe out actual good plays. We could change play callers but if these other things don't change, they impact would be minimal, IMO.
November 25, 2025Nov 25 I think Patullo needs to go in the coaching box for a better view of things. The old saying is the sideline is the worst seat in the house. He never seems to talk to Hurts on the sideline anyway. Goiung upstairs may give him a better perspective. Put it this way, it can't be any worse.

It’s a short week. If Eagles don’t look great at home against a poor defense, make the move. If it gets worse, so be it, we get a better pick next year. But good time to make the move with the extra time before week 13.

I believe we’re stuck in this situation until the offseason.I also think a change at play caller sends a message of panic to the locker room. When they switched from Desai to Patricia the defense actually got worse.
November 25, 2025Nov 25 You can't fire him BECAUSE there is no one to take over for him. Maybe the QB Coach? But, what has he ever done?KP, in hindsight obviously, never should have gotten the job. But, who could they have hired from the outside to be the OC?They lost to Dallas because of their ridiculous amount of penalties. Not because of the O play calling, IMO.Saw on ESPN some clips where an underneath pass route is wide open, but either Hurts doesn't see it or has sooo much pressure in his face that he has to throw it somewhere else. That's on the players, IMO. Some Coaching issues (why is Stoutland not getting any heat??!!), but I think it's more on the execution from the players. 🏈🫣

That, and the players executing properly without making dumb mistakes that wipe out positive plays.
November 29, 2025Nov 29 Nick needs to Ask doug what happens when you don’t do what needs to be done.Loyalty can be a painful lesson.
November 29, 2025Nov 29 Firing KP is not going to make the o-line finally block in the run game or make Hurts not retarded. This is who the team is...its over. The sooner people accept that the better. Its been obvious for weeks. The homers and effeminates here refused to accept what they were seeing saying a win is a win while convincing themselves this team was legit.Well, welcome to the inevitable of playing the way the Eagles play. You had an all-world o-line and running game last year along with a peaking defense. All that covered for the huge limitations of Hurts...now, with a o-line taking a step back you see what you have at QB.A guy who rode the coattails of Barkley to a Super Bowl and CANNOT elevate the team around him.

Nick had no problem giving up play calling, but seems extremely reluctant to ever take it back. At this point those are the options KP or Nick. Frankly I wonder if there would be any difference in who makes the calls between those two.
November 29, 2025Nov 29 KP Has not been good this year, but he’s one problem out of many. The scheme is bad, as well as the injuries, and both lines have not been good enough. The quarterback hasn’t been good enough this year, but the run game has been atrocious. Not calling for Stoutland to be fired, but the offensive line hasn’t been good enough and Stoutland is also the run game coordinator and frankly the run game is the main reason the offense is struggling. The penalties and the mental mistakes. That’s on the HC from my perspective. Guys just aren’t keeping focus and are making major mistakes, but nothing seems to change. There’s a lack of accountability as people keep doing the same things, but nothing seems one gets pulled or benched. In the end Nick and Jalen share the brunt of most of this after all they’re the two who get the praise when things are going well, but there are a lot of people who frankly aren’t getting it done and it’s not just KP.

But you face a team with one of the worst run defenses in the league and was missing starting linebackers, and you run the ball just 13 times with Barkley, giving ZERO touches to tank or Shipley?? That’s not on the players that in the coaches and the play caller. You can’t say they had to throw because they were behind because it was a one score game and should have been a tie game, and then should have been eagles up 17-10 if not for a turnover. So they had plenty of reason to run the ball with every available ball carrier but they chose instead to throw it 40+ times. In the swirly wind on a cold night. Andy used to do that same crap all the time too and we demanded he be fired for it. So why does KP get a pass? He’s awful. This isn’t the first game he came in with a poor plan. It’s like he doesn’t watch film of opposing defenses and he just hits a play all randomizer app to dial things up. Then refuses to make any in game adjustment. That’s all coaching decisions my friend.
November 29, 2025Nov 29 You can fire him. You can bring in a really good OC. We will be successful, then that OC will be hired away. Rinse. Repeat. That’s the problem when you have an "offensive” head coach who can’t design an offense, run an offense, or call plays.
November 29, 2025Nov 29 I would fire him, changed my mind. Have the QB Coach call the plays, it can't be any worse.Tank got zero carries yesterday??!!! Am I seeing that correctly? And no more Tush Push. Hurts has fumbled too many times. Rip that play out of the play book already. Just turn around and hand it to Tank!!!!
November 29, 2025Nov 29 If I'm Howie, I'm calling in Nick and KP to come to my office ASAP. Then I'm asking these 2 doofuses why are they not using Tank 6 - 10x a game. If Saquon is starting and struggling, then SWITCH THINGS UP!! He provides them a weapon, and these 2 dumpster fire of Coaches refuse to use said weapon.Reminds me of the time when the Eagles got Golden Tate in a trade. The Eagles OC said in a presser that "he's not involved yet because we are not sure how to use him in our O"!! How freaking difficult is it to figure out how to use a player??!! That was Mike Groh, I think. Probably fired along with Doug P.These Coaches work 18 hours a day, but yet they can't see what us nobodies see. Unbelievable. ///end rant....
