Also, Siri is 2nd up on the chopping block.

He adds no value to the O, none to the D, and I assume none to STs. So, WTF does he do??!!

If he's a CEO type Coach, fine. But he is sucking this season as that!! Bad clock management, bad in game decisions, etc....

Maybe the Saints will fire Moore, we fire Siri, and Moore comes back as HC. 😎

And who takes over play calling … Sirianni? We’ve seen that show before, it was just as bad. I believe we’re stuck in this situation until the offseason.

I also think a change at play caller sends a message of panic to the locker room. When they switched from Desai to Patricia the defense actually got worse.

I agree Patullo stays for this season because there's no better option. One thing that is important to remember is that for the past FOUR YEARS Patullo has been the passing game coordinator. You know the part of the offense that was NOT their identity as a run first team. He should be far better as an OC than he is. Yes, he must 100% go in the off season. He can't design plays that make things easier on Hurts, given his limitations seeing the field, like Moore and Steichen did.

Granted the O-line is a dumpster fire right now, but he should be able to scheme things to help some there, and he obviously can't. Oh, and if I may vent a little, running crossing routes at the LOS is beyond stupid. That he did it with AJ and Smitty is coaching malpractice. Those two guys should be beyond the sticks on every play to stress the defense into stretching vertically. I just don't get what he is thinking all week and at this point, I don't care. I say buy him a plane ticket and wish him well.

If I'm Howie, I'm calling in Nick and KP to come to my office ASAP.

Then I'm asking these 2 doofuses why are they not using Tank 6 - 10x a game. If Saquon is starting and struggling, then SWITCH THINGS UP!!

He provides them a weapon, and these 2 dumpster fire of Coaches refuse to use said weapon.

Reminds me of the time when the Eagles got Golden Tate in a trade. The Eagles OC said in a presser that "he's not involved yet because we are not sure how to use him in our O"!! How freaking difficult is it to figure out how to use a player??!! That was Mike Groh, I think. Probably fired along with Doug P.

These Coaches work 18 hours a day, but yet they can't see what us nobodies see. Unbelievable.

///end rant....

Will Tank stop the oline from being Swiss cheese? How many times last year was Saquon touched in the back field? He probably got touched in the back field more on Friday than he did all last season. The running game the Bears displayed on Friday was the Eagles run game pretty much all last year after the bye.

I would fire him, changed my mind. Have the QB Coach call the plays, it can't be any worse.

Tank got zero carries yesterday??!!! Am I seeing that correctly?

And no more Tush Push. Hurts has fumbled too many times. Rip that play out of the play book already. Just turn around and hand it to Tank!!!!

Tank got zero. And then on defense, while you’re getting gashed in the run game, jihaad got ZERO snaps on defense. He’s better against the run than the pass and dean wasn’t exactly lighting it up and you can’t get him on the field? Or him and dean and Baun?

There is something seriously wrong with the game plans going into games, the use of the assets at hand, and an inability to change mid stream. I won’t even give them the benefit of the doubt and say it’s stubbornness, I truly think they don’t have the ability to evaluate and adjust in real time.

Tank is averaging like 8 yards a carry since being here. He’s better against hits the hole quicker than saquan has been lately. You have to at least give him some touches. Especially against one of the leagues worst run defenses. Instead Sa gets 13 carries and that’s the run game plan. You run the ball 40 times against that defense and you win the game. Its malpractice

KP is a part of the problem and should get the blame. I agree. I agree too when i read he should have never been hire in the first place. Eagles FO already proved us they can do some dumb moves. That's said KP is not responsible for all the problems. The Oline is bad really bad and commit dumb penalties. How is it his fault ? The players lack intensity. How is it his fault ? Yeah he has his responsibility but Eagles problems at this point are far beyond KP

If a person accepts the position of Offensive Coordinator, he is in charge of all performance aspects of the offense. He is in meetings where he participates in play design for favorable matchups based on scouting the opponent in both the run and passing game. He includes a series of plays that will stress the defense both vertically and horizontally and can mix them up on game day to keep the defense off balance and guessing. He can identify opponents in-game weaknesses and real time trends and exploit those through adjustments in play calling as the game goes on.

He, along with Sirianni is responsible for fielding a disciplined group of offensive players who are ready to play a physical, focused, and penalty free game. If there's 1 false start or 1 holding call in the game, you can live with that and clean it up, but illegal formation penalties? Never. That should never happen. It's peewee football level stuff. This offense is inept right now and the guy most responsible for the offense is the offensive coordinator. He gets the credit when they are playing great football and he gets the blame when they don't. so yeah, it's his fault.

Petullo seems totally overwhelmed by this new coaching position. Bill Walsh famously stated about new players, when a reporter stated that he had a lot of players in their first year with the team, he replied "yeah and some of them are in their last." I think that goes for new coaches too. Petullo should be done as a play caller.

The QB has stunk too. He is back to being a TO machine. He ain't no top 5 NFL QB. The expectations for him should be way higher than "Just don't turn the ball over".

Saquon has stunk as well, and Stoutland. And the LT. And both Guards. Toth might be a better option at C because he's at least healthy. Grrrrrr...

//end of another rant from me....

Maybe the OC should try sitting up in the booth for once. Try something different?

Which one of you did this?

Ummm if I had to guess, either Talonblood or time2rock are the responsible culprits.

Two dirty, rotten, scoundrels!! But very intelligent football guys.

Chip got fired. We bring him in to spice things up. With our level of talent hardly any experienced coordinator can do worse.

Dear Lord.

Chip is about to be hired as Kentucky’s new HC.

I have read a few time that Hurts asked for less runs due to prior injures. Also that the offense in vanilla because Hurts doesn't like a lot of motion and stuff across the middle and that is hamstringing Patullo greatly. Anyone else buy this or see this them selves?

Eggs to the house!!!!!

rumors are rumors

I have not heard Hurts say any such thing or the coaches either.

I do know that the offense is built around Jalen Hurts and I'm sure they are doing the things he likes or is comfortable doing. I also know that the execution this year has been very erratic and that has been killing drives most of the time.

What do you think Eagles should do? Stick with KP or look for an experienced OC outside?

I am divided about making the change so late in the season...and not making a change. Not much faith in KP.

Kids should've thrown rocks instead

I would bring in Reich now as a consultant since he is now available with Stanford having hired their new HC. And as soon as the season ends, I’d fire Patullo and move Reich to OC.

If Kellen Moore was still the OC here, would the Offense be this bad? I wonder. 🧐

Highly unlikely. We returned all starters on offense except Becton. And it's not like Jalen all of the sudden forgot how to play QB in the 10 months since he was THE best player on the field against KC. Patullo is just incapable of tailoring a scheme around the strengths of Hurts. He's in over his head as an OC.

Can they bring in Foles to be the QB coach? He was aggressive in the passing game which is a QB friendly approach. Hurts might like him.

The O-line problems would still exist though so they'd be less bad overall but not what they were last year.

Exactly. The philosphy here is winning starts in the trenches. That's why Howie focuses so many resources on both lines. We are losing the battle on the LOS on offense regularly (partly or mostly due to injuries). And occasionally we are losing at the LOS on defense too (like that Chicago game).

If they don't fire Patullo soon, they price of eggs is going to skyrocket again.
