February 6Feb 6 Holy crap ep.4 is a great episode. Incredibly intense, and ep.5 promises to be even better.

Dunk both seems to exaggerate how good of a knight he was and also Ser Arlan wasn't honest when telling stories to Dunk (7 broken lances when it was actually 4.)Basically, Ser Arlan was like the quintessential knight to Dunk but nobody else really remembers him. Also, I think it's alluding to the fact that Dunk's overall story isn't exactly true..... It look like Ser Arlan had a quick death, so there's probably some doubt as to whether Dunk was actually even made a knight by him.I think it's more than heavily implied by this point that he was never knighted. He implied that he was being punished by the gods for "not knowing my place" and he was also hesitant to knight Raymun Fossaway.

February 8Feb 8 This series is really, really good. It's so good that even the book nerds are happy. Hallelujah

With 30min eps it’s not impossible for them to go all Bill and Frank on us… just not sure if it will carry the same weight as that decision.
February 13Feb 13 GRRM told the actor that plays Egg a key and big future AGoT story point and blabbed it in an interview. Be warned out there. Dunc's reaction suggests it is true
February 14Feb 14 It’s been 25 years! This is all we want and the storytelling is finally back.Heroes, friends, villains, overcoming long odds, plot twists, people making difficult choices, etc.
February 15Feb 15 Supposedly this episode is going to be a flashback type episode that goes into both Dunk's past as well as the history of the Blackfyre Rebellion and Baleor and Maekar's role in it. Sounds like they're saving the trial for the finale
February 16Feb 16 Author Great episode. It's a shame this season only has 6 episodes. Had a slow start but it picked up quickly

The chainmail won't stop the blade, but will remove the more extreme impact to the body, basically. Can't verify if that's true, but a whole bunch seemed to geek out about it and will undoubtedly go off to their YouTube channels to prove it 🤷♂️.
February 17Feb 17 The episode was really good - Temu Zendaya in the flashback was a little annoying, but overall, the quality is still there. It did its job well.Come on George, get the 9 other novellas done.
February 17Feb 17 The stabbings and impalement looked bad, but could be survived. The repeated blows to the head by the maces seemed a little more deadly, as Baelon showed. Regardless, still a fantastic episode.

I forgot that until it was pointed out a review I saw and perhaps why that injury happened.
February 20Feb 20 I just realized the show screwed up the timeline... When Maester Aemon reveals his identity to Jon Snow, he calls the Mad King his brother's son. (who would have been Egg) I reality, it was his brother's grandson, as Egg's son Jaehaerys II was the Mad King's father
February 20Feb 20 Is it a surprise, the last couple of seasons were not that good and did a lot of damage to the story in general. D&D had other prioritiesThis is how Google has the breakdown of Aemon's relationships to Egg's descendants:Brother: Aegon V ("Egg").Nephew: Jaehaerys II (Egg's son).Grand-Nephew: Aerys II "The Mad King" (Jaehaerys's son).Great-Grand-Nephews/Nieces: Rhaegar, Viserys, and Daenerys Targaryen.Great-Great-Grand-Nephew: Jon Snow (son of Rhaegar).Only GRRM could come up with something that convoluted!
