Losing Becton hurt way more than anyone thought it would. And he didn’t even get a huge contract.

He isn't playing that well though

FART!!!!!!

I don't know what to think about Sirianni. He has had an all time roster during most of his time as HC in salary cap era. They got a SB last year on talent and some amazing D play with a deep loaded defense. Teams figured out how to limit the Eagles run game and the pass game has never been consistently good and its overall predicable and simple.

I am starting to wonder about ability for a team to maintain success season over season without consistency on offensive coaching. I think you need a mastermind offensive HC that can train assistants and keep a pipeline. And ideally you pair that with a old defensive wizard (eagles have that in Fangio). When I look at Detroit they are NOT the same team on offense now without Ben Johnson. Bills have an amazing QB and can't get over the hump. Ravens are loaded but can't make the offense work year after year. Look at how McVay reinvents that offense year over year and even game to game within the season. Look at what Steichen does in Indy the identity is very malleable.

Playing the same style of simple ball and relying on execution and talent to make it work just isn't enough in the NFL for sustained success. It has to be scheme + talent + execution. Anything else is a non-starter. Too much attrition you have to overcome between FA and injuries. Too much inconsistent ref calls either directions. Weather doing this weather doing that. Bad rash of penalties. Teams start dictating to you because you are easy to read. Its just a bad plan.

And on top of that its just a bad product to watch. I loved the Super Bowl last year. And I enjoyed watching the Defense play. But the only year I enjoyed watching the Eagles offense under Sirianni was Steichan's 2nd season. Last year had alot of big run plays but the passing game was very inconsistent and a lot of the same stuff as this year. And the run game had ALOT of carries for negative yardage Barkley's average just got boosted massively by all the explosive runs. That doesn't deliver consistency in my mind, the explosives are lightning in a bottle. Just ranting I guess because I just don't enjoy watching the product Sirianni puts on the field. My favorite part of football is the Xs and Os and watching real innovation and creativity and I don't see any of it. And I don't think you can win consistently without it.

That tush push fumble was what changed the momentum and that stupid missed xp screwed us. A well deserved loss.

They obviously didnt prepare well enough and had no fire in them to start. No sense of urgency or wanting to get the bad taste of last week outta their mouth. They were defeated before the game even started.

I shut the game off . Did hurts not congratulate Williams?

I agree sorta... hasn't he missed a lot of games this year?

The problem is the play calling and crappy designs.

He did

Defense got gashed on the ground. You aren't winning many games giving up 200 yards rushing. Offense got going way too late. The game was still in reach going into the 4th but gave up 14 points. Back to the drawing board, mini-bye before Chargers game.

I still can't believe they went for 2 so early. Terrible decision.

It doesn't matter. It was lost before that. Just another bad decision piled on by a bunch of others.

I hate to say it but it looks like the full on Collapse is now in progress. The players look beaten up.

Or Could it be the AJ Brown effect. He complained, they started throwing him the ball, making him the main focus, and they lose. Maybe they should go back to the prior formula, AJ doesn't catch a ball and let AJ Whine, then maybe we can win a game like this. LOL.

Honestly, I look forward to AJ being gone. Even if he’s right about things, he really is a buzz kill. We win and he has to air that cryptic drama? Cant wait till hes gone - among other players and coaches.

Hurts is limited in seeing the field. Hes never been a Qb that can run through his progressions. Its hot read, safety valve if applicable, then run or panic.

Under Steichen and Moore he was better at reading his progressions. He's back to not doing it at all. He locks in on one guy and waits to throw it to him, then it's look at a covered stop route, run and throw it away or take a sack. Petullo and Loeffler don't challenge him at all. He's regressing under their non-tutelage and needs a wake up call. I say give the backup some 1st team reps in practice. That'd get Jalen's attention while those 2 coaches are packing their bags..

Becton has been banged up this season. Steen is no Becton.

Yes, Mekhi Becton has been dealing with multiple injuries this season, including a concussion in Week 3 and a knee injury in Week 8 that caused him to miss games. He returned to play after the concussion but was sidelined again with the knee injury, though he was able to return to action in Week 10

Lmao.

For real, gotta laugh. They are a Trainwreck right now

Can they win a game without Lane Johnson. The record without him is rather poor and getting worse.

That's why it's Howie's fault for letting it happen. I'm done with Nick and Hurts.

I’m not done with Hurts but as someone who has defended him A TON I’m done with that. I have nothing this year to argue with you about.

I’m with you 100% on Nick.

He was benched too in Week 11 mid-game, I mean, probably our OL sold their souls last year since it's the same here.
Realistically, we weren't going to pay 5 Olineman either way, to me Steen is a solid 5th pieces, it's just that that almost the rest of the OL is on Steen level or worse (Jurgens).

Nah, nothing was edited and you still can’t read.

It was edited and you’re still obsessed with Jerry Jones’ balls

Someone needs to be fired at this point this offense is atrocious

And you’re obsessed with me. Jeez, don’t you have some Dallas balls to suck.

For Siri, this was a masterclass in ineptitude and low football IQ.

As for the rest of the team, Hurts continues to be a boat anchor on offense. Slow to read, missing reads, and bad throws.

Oline is BAD! Not much else to say there.

Defense is worn out. And that’s 2 games in a row of bad play from the safeties.

The gloves need to come off in the locker room and fingers actually need to be pointed and the BS needs to be called out.

These players and coaches need to get mad!!

They've gotten exposed. So, until the scheme changes, they'll do the same.

I never think I'd see a Fangio's D be soooo soft.

I'm just upset right now. I don't know if I'm done with Hurts. His flaws are getting frustrating though.
