It didn't seem to be a bad stinger, he came back into the game. I'm hoping he plays, helps us win and then we can start resting players for the final 2 games. Have to get that Division title locked up first, though. Maybe he can get over 1000 yards rushing for the season before being rested though. It's a typical milestone for RBs and often a contractual incentive.

With Barkley suffering the stinger last weekend, I hope they sit him this Saturday. Start Bigsby and mix in Shipley.

Yes please!!

I want more of Tank and Ship. Hmmm that sounds kinda ghey. 😍

Tank and Ship. Tank and Ship. Kinda Army Navy?🧐🏈

Still think he needs more touches. Thought they did a much better job of getting him involved last game. Let’s keep it up and get Barkley ready for this playoff run.

They will start riding Tank the rest of the regular season as soon as the Eagles have the game in hand tomorrow.

If we lock up the division this week, they may actually activate Dillon and ride him the last two games so as to keep Bigsby healthy too. Everybody kind of assumes resting our starters means playing the 2nd string and that may not be the case. In the final game last season, it was McKee (QB3) that started and played the "rest game," not our QB2, Pickett.

Maybe but I think they would turn toward establishing Tank in a heavy manner and get him reps pass blocking and catching balls on swing and screen passes. Hopefully we will find out in Buffalo.

Yeah, hopefully we don't waste an opportunity to lock up the NFCE Saturday. I just expect to see Howell and Dillon "start" if we make the decision to not dress a lot of players for a game.

I'd expect Mckee to get a chance to compete in a real game against a good team that is playing for something. All he's had so far is some limited mop up duty and one game last year where the other team both sucked and had already packed it in. I think it would be wise to get him some real action just in case we need him in a playoff game.

One thing is for sure and that's that Mckee doesn't need any rest.

I think we all want to see McKee get opportunities. He's always responded so well when they have been given. Most of us have reason to be very confident with McKee if something happens to Hurts. Do we feel that way about Howell? I don't. Keep in mind we'd be starting backups across the OL and playing against an opponent's first string defense. Based on what we have done before, I don't think the Eagles will risk McKee before the playoffs. If we are comfortably ahead Saturday, McKee would likely come in again to finish up, then we'd probably make McKee the emergency QB for any rest game, activating Howell, and elevating McCord.

I understand your thinking but Mckee has never played a single game that meant anything to either team. He needs real full on competition to get prepared should he need to relieve Hurts in a playoff game. It has nothing to do with wanting to see him play. It is all about getting him ready.

Let Tank take the snaps and lighten Barkley's load. After a win tomorrow, they would start resting starters anyway. McKee will also get in action. They need to know he is ready if he is called on in the playoff. Ditto to other back-ups.

I keep hoping they have been holding back on some of the game plan/ plays for the playoffs.. it would be nice to see them use Tank and even some of the other rb’s to really pound the rock and hold the ball against some of the teams expected to make the playoffs.

I also wouldn’t mind depending if we lock up the division today and what happens the rest of the weekend. Possibly sitting most of the starters the following two weeks so they can be as healthy as possible come the playoffs.

Complementary Tank carries sure do feel like a good thing.
