Posted Thursday at 12:05 PM2 days NFL finally announces kickoff time for Eagles-Commanders game at FedEx FieldAdjust those calendars.By Reuben Frank • Published December 2, 2025Kickoff for the Eagles’ Week 16 game against the Commanders at Northwest Stadium has been set for 5 p.m., on Dec. 20, the NFL announced Tuesday.The game is part of a Saturday double-header, with the Packers-Bears game at Soldier Field at 8:20 p.m.The game dates were set when the schedule originally came out in May, but the times weren’t announced until Tuesday.This will be the first Eagles-Commanders game this year. The rematch at the Linc is scheduled for the final weekend of the season, with a time and date still to be announced.The game will be the Eagles’ first regular-season Saturday game since Week 16 in 2022, when they lost to the Cowboys 40-34. They beat the Giants on a Saturday in the conference semifinal playoff round at the Linc in 2023.The Eagles lost to the Commanders on Saturdays in both 2014 and 2015, 27-24 in Landover in 2014 and 38-24 at the Linc in 2015. Chip Kelly was fired a day later. They also played on Saturdays in 1955 (31-30 loss at Connie Mack Stadium) and 1956 (13-9 win at Connie Mack). The Commanders, who won 12 straight games last year and reached the NFC Championship Game, where they lost to the Eagles 55-23, are 3-9 and have lost seven straight games after a 3-1 start.
