I think the tie Dallas has means that even if they lose the Eagles need another win

Cowboys play tomorrow night. Even if Dallas lose vs the Vikings it will not be enough. Eagles need to reach 11 wins to be sure to win the east or Cowboys need to lose 2 more. If Eagles and Cowboys are tie with 10 wins Cowboys would win the east because of the tie game

I think they'll need 1 more. If the Cowboys lose tonight, they'll at best get to 9 wins. If the Eagles win 1 more they'll have 10 wins. Game, Set, Match.

No they’d still be only 2 back in the loss column. After today’s W the magic number dropped to 2. A Dallas L would drop it to 1.

Cows play tonight (now). Cows lose tonight, Eagles just need 1 more win.

Magic number will be 1 if Dallas loses tonight. An Eagles win or another Dallas loss gets them in.

Eagles need to win 1 more game and they're in. Beat Washington next week. Then you can start resting players week 17 and use week 18 as a bye!

So 1 more win and Eagles rest their starters for the next 2 games and come back healthy for the home playoff win...

We still have a realistic shot at the 2 seed, particularly if the Packers beat the Bears this weekend.

I think resting for 2 weeks is probably too much anyways.

The Eagles still do have a small chance for the one or two seed I believe. Not sure if they would be resting people unless they know that can’t make it.

2 seed or 3 seed doesn't matter. Being healthy does. Unless the Eagles really care whether or not they play the 6th or 7th seed.

1 seed is gone, not gonna be delusional to think its a possibility. I have a feeling the Eagles think the same.

With all that said, I have a feeling depending how the weather is gonna be in Buffalo I'd be surprised if the starters get more than a half. Assuming we win this Saturday against Wash...

Well we want to avoid the 4 seed as that could mean Seahawks/Rams back to back. But near impossible for Tampa/Carolina us to catch it if we beat Washington.

2 seed does matter though as if we get through the wild card it gives us a home game in the divisional round.

If we get to a playoff game on the road, I like our chances if it's in a nice-weather / good field condition setting. Even yesterday, we missed on a couple plays because of player footing and the cold air takes a little off Jalen's passes.

Field conditions affect both teams. But they should be used to home conditions.

They’re not even winning one and you’re talking about three lmao

Solid prediction. lol

Do you mean the 1 incomplete pass which was not a good throw with a drop?

Did you mean that magic fairies push back on the passes if it goes from 37 degrees to 28 degrees? But 70 to 37 has no effect?

Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles - December 15t...

37 degrees

NFC Championship - Washington Commanders at Philadelphia...

40 degrees

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants - December 11th, 2...

37 degrees

2 weeks does seem a little while but guys like Landon, Lane, Cam and Carter could really use that time off to heal.

Even the QB seems hurt, he is moving very slow, would be a perfect time to get Tanner under the center see what he has....

I still feel the rest/recovery is more important than the seeding this season..

I agree 100%. 1st seed gets the bye. Everyone else plays. Without a chance at the bye, being healthier when they play matters more.

I hear what you guys are saying, but I’ll add for as successful as Sirianni has been in the playoffs, he’s 1-3 in road games. That one win was the SB, but it’s a little different than playing someone in their home on the road.

One more!!

Don't care about the seeding. Home or away, they will have to play excellent football to win.

Last season they had to win 3x at home in the playoffs. It won't be that smooth this season.

2nd seed.... Packers or Lions at the Linc

3rd seed.... SF at the Linc

If Chi hangs on... I dont trust them enough to win round 1 against Packers/Lions.

Regardless I think we rest everyone week 18 unless somehow #1 seed is up for grabs (highly doubt it). And that doesn't mean they will lose either.

San Fran at the Linc again. Not scared of the Packers or Lions though. More concerned about where they may have to play on the road.

NFCCG might be in LA, which will be another home game for us. If Adams doesn't heal up for their divisional round, they might be 1 and done

Current scenario- Eagles get 1 more win, or Cowboys lose 1 more game.
